GIVEAWAY!

Equine Life-Skills Academy is giving away one spot for our upcoming holiday program in April 2021.

Our fun filled holiday program is for primary school aged children (5 to 12 years old) and will be run between the 19th and 21st April (one spot = one day). The children get to safely interact with and ride safe and experienced horses! There are fun activities, games and age appropriate life skills components. A fun-filled holiday program for children aged 5 to 12 with a love for horses.

Children will participate in a range of horse-related activities (horse safety, grooming, care and riding) as well as age appropriate life-skills activities designed to make it a fun and educational program. The program provides a safe environment to learn about horses with a 1:1 ground assistant to rider ratio when riding horses, and a 1:2 assistant and child ratio for non-horse and grooming activities. The horses we use for our program are very experienced with kids (same horses used for training disabled riders on a weekly basis). This program is open to all and no prior experience is required. Limited to six riders per day, so booking is essential.

When: 19 to 21 April (9am – 3pm)

Monday: ages 5 – 8 years old

Tuesday, Wednesday: ages 9 – 12 years old.

Ages are flexible as it is a general guide.

Location: 144 Johnston Road, Balclutha (Balclutha RDA)

Price: $70 per day (capped at 1 day per child)

What to bring a positive attitude and a packed lunch with morning tea.

Our team at Equine Life-Skills Academy really run like a well oiled machine. The World Down Syndrome Day event could not have run smoother and a large part of that is due to the helpers. Thank you everyone and a massive thank you to everyone else behind the scenes that was not photographed
