Join us during our winter market hours, 10am–2pm, at Te Pou o Mata-Au – Clutha District War Memorial and Community Centre.

Josie will be bringing along her delicious, award-winning creations that have become a favourite with food lovers near and far. 🍪🍰✨

📚🥖🌿 What’s the perfect recipe for a winter weekend in the Clutha district?

A giant three-day book sale + a local community market packed with good humans, good food, and good finds. That’s a pretty solid start. ☕📖

Come along and support local at the Clutha Community Market on Saturday June 13th, running alongside the community book sale happening Friday 12th June through Sunday 14th June.

Browse tables stacked with books, gifts, fresh breads, veggies, handmade goodies and plenty more, all while supporting the amazing local producers, growers, makers, and community groups that keep our district ticking along quietly in the background like the kettle before morning tea.

Even better, proceeds from the book sale are helping support the local food bank, so your dollars are going straight back into the Clutha District where they belong ❤️

Bring a tote bag. Bring a mate. Come for “just a quick look” and leave with three books, a loaf of bread, mystery vegetables, and absolutely no regrets. 📚🥔🥐

Hey everyone 👋

We have one more market coming up before we take a 3-month winter break. A huge amount of time and energy goes into organising these markets, so the team has decided to take the winter off to rest and recharge before coming back fresh for spring 🌸

Our final market before the break will be held alongside the annual Food Bank Book Sale on Saturday 13th June. Many of you may remember this as the old Rotary Book Sale, however it is now run by the Food Bank Committee.

Last year we held stalls across all three days, but this year we have decided to run the market on Saturday only, as feedback showed Saturday had the best foot traffic by far.

There will be two stall options available:

📍 Front Outdoor Market Area
- Same location as our current markets
- Runs from 10am – 2pm
- Great for those wanting a shorter market day

📚 Inside the Auditorium (with the Book Sale)
- Runs from 9am – 5pm
- Best suited for those wanting to trade for the full day

Please let us know which option you would prefer when booking your stall. Please note Double Stalls are all booked up with only a couple of singles left in the auditorium.

If you would like a stall in either area, please get in touch asap.

After this event, our next market will not be until Father’s Day in September 😊
