Are you looking for a place to connect with older adults in Remuera? The Remuera senior friendship centre from

Each week, members enjoy multiple activities like crafts, games, and even enjoying a meal. By doing things like this, it gives older adults a sense of belonging and creates a space where everyone feels valued and supported.🫂

Not an older adult but still want to be involved? You can! Volunteers are always welcome. By volunteering, you’ll not only make meaningful connections but also become an essential part of a mission dedicated to uplifting others.

When: Tuesdays 9:30am-12:30pm

Walking Netball is a modified version of the game with no running or jumping. It is perfect for those who have been out of the game for a while, those coming back from injury or pregnancy, or anyone who would like to give netball a go.

Auckland Netball has created a friendly, fun, and inclusive space where everyone is welcome regardless of experience!

They’re running a clothing swap over at the Meadowbank Community Centre on the weekend of May 9th and 10th. The idea is simple: bring along those pre-loved pieces that have just been sitting in your closet, and swap them for something "new-to-you" from someone else’s collection.

When: May 9th & 10th 12:30 - 4pm both days

Our friends at are hosting a planting day in the Kohimarama Forest - Mission Enroot on the 16th of May, and it’s basically the perfect Saturday: getting outdoors, doing something good for the environment, and meeting a cool group of people.

When: Saturday 16th May, 10:30am – 1:30pm
Where: Kohimarama Reserve
Snacks: Free pizza once the work is done!
