Experience the joy of movement – join Zumba Gold! These lively sessions are perfect for older active adults seeking a fun, safe, and low-impact workout, and are designed for those with reasonable mobility who can move around with ease.

Instructor Camilla ensures that everyone feels welcome, regardless of previous dance experience. Chair support options are available for those who need additional stability during certain movements.

Walking Netball is a modified version of the game with no running or jumping. It is perfect for those who have been out of the game for a while, those coming back from injury or pregnancy, or anyone who would like to give netball a go.

Auckland Netball has created a friendly, fun, and inclusive space where everyone is welcome regardless of experience!

When: Mondays during term time
Commencing 20th April 2026
Time: 10am-11am: Walking Netball Session

They’re running a clothing swap over at the Meadowbank Community Centre on the weekend of May 9th and 10th. The idea is simple: bring along those pre-loved pieces that have just been sitting in your closet, and swap them for something "new-to-you" from someone else’s collection.

When: May 9th & 10th 12:30 - 4pm both days
Where: Meadowbank Community Centre

Our friends at are hosting a planting day in the Kohimarama Forest - Mission Enroot on the 16th of May, and it’s basically the perfect Saturday: getting outdoors, doing something good for the environment, and meeting a cool group of people.

The details:
When: Saturday 16th May, 10:30am – 1:30pm
Where: Kohimarama Reserve
Snacks: Free pizza once the work is done!
Heads up: There are only 25 spots available, so you’ll need to move fast if you want in!
