It was all Santa hats and thinking caps last night at our mid-winter Christmas quiz fundraiser! It was so cool to pack out the pub and have a laugh with friends (and even an impromptu Home & Away sing along).

We had a blast and want to thank everyone who got involved, including but not limited to
The Morningside Tavern - Chris is a legend, the staff were so great
Golden Fingers Thai Massage
Wigmore Deli
Hummingbird Coffee
Our neighbouring Playcentres who came along
Past Morningside Playcentre whānau
All our mates and families
Our MC extrodinaire Katrina (FYI folks, she's also a wedding celebrant!)

Congrats to all who won - spot prizes and bragging rights were all up for grabs!

✨️Celebrating Matariki at Playcentre ✨

This week we've been exploring Matariki through hands-on creativity and play. ⭐
Our tamariki enjoyed decorating beautiful stars, strengthening their fine motor skills while learning about this special time of year. Matariki is a chance to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look forward with hope to the future.

We love creating opportunities for our children to learn about Aotearoa's culture through meaningful, play-based experiences.

🌟 Matariki mā Puanga – Happy Matariki from all of us at Playcentre! 💙
