Wesley & RYZ Centre The Wesley Community Centre is a bookable community space situated at 740 Sandringham Road extension in Mt Roskill.

It was officially opened June 2003 and is located within the beautiful surroundings of the Mt Roskill War Memorial Park. There are seven rooms available for hire and there is also a large paved outdoor area at the rear of the venue. Among the many activities on offer are school holiday programmes, a twice weekly Fresh Food Market, Creative and Digital Learning, homework group, support services, health services, legal & budgeting services, language classes, exercise classes and much more. The venue includes a playgroup area, outdoor courtyard, community offices, meeting rooms, Creative Lab and a large function room. The playgroup area and the function room have kitchens and kitchenettes available for use. There are plenty of options for parking on both sides of the venue. Highlights from 1st week of School Holidays Team
School holidays are always very busy at our Wesley Centre, and this week has been no exception, with the centre full of tamariki. It is lovely to see our kids and their parents enjoying the new playground. We are sharing some photos from our school holiday programme run by the NZ Nejashi Trust. This week, we covered various sports activities alongside information with some demo on water safety. A special shout-out goes to Madison from Drowning Prevention Auckland, who is always ready to teach and help our community!

📍: Tarapunga Room, Wesley Community Centre, 740 Sandringham Rd Extn, Wesley, Auckland 1041, New Zealand

The Migrant Action Trust, in partnership with the Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People, and Wesley Community Centre, will be holding a FREE Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshop for everyone.

This workshop will be run by facilitators from Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People and aims to provide simple and accurate information about Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi. The workshop hopes to encourage attendees to refresh their knowledge about Te Tiriti/The Treaty; to learn more about the history of Aotearoa New Zealand, and ultimately, to understand their obligations in upholding Te Tiriti/The Treaty.
