Registrations are now OPEN for our final Wāhine in Lifesaving Workshop of the season - and this one’s an important kōrero. This workshop focuses on menstrual cycles within Surf Life Saving, with two tailored sessions facilitated by Kylie Cox, Founder of The Healthy Athlete Project.

✨ Session 1: Wāhine Athletes & Lifeguards (10:30am – 12:30pm)
Designed for Wāhine wanting to better understand their menstrual cycle, how to fuel properly, training load & recovery, and more.
We encourage you to bring other Wāhine from your whānau or close circle — members or non‑members welcome!

✨ Session 2: Coaches & Leaders (all genders) (12:00pm – 2:00pm)
Build your understanding of the menstrual cycle, recognise warning signs of unbalanced health in active females, learn how females should be fueling, and discover how you can better support the young Wāhine in your care.

📍 Muriwai Volunteer Lifesaving Service
🗓 Sunday 7 June
🥗 Lunch provided for both sessions
📝 Registrations close: Sunday 24 May, 11:59pm

A powerful opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen how we support Wāhine across SLS.
