Whenuapai Air Scouts is part of New Zealand's biggest mixed youth organisation. Our youth members participate in fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and are given the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in our communities. Hi Scouting Families,
Just a quick reminder that we will be starting again next week with cubs on Monday at 6.30pm.
Your scouts got homework over the holidays which was washing their uniform and scarfs. Please do not roll the scarfs at home but bring them nicely folded so we can roll them correctly together in preparation for our attendance at the ANZAC parade.
If your scarfs are very wrinkled please iron them as well.

Hi to our lovely people in our community, we are needing your help in getting our Whenuapai Air Scouts to the Jamboree 2026.

We bring to you our Easter Raffle 🐣 🐰 🌟

Everything seen in the raffle has been donated, so 100 % profit from the tickets goes to Whenuapai Air Scouts Jamboree Fund 2026.
The prize draw: We will be using an App to choose the numbers.

The rules of engagement: you are welcome to request any number 5- 150 until those numbers are no longer available, if your favourite number/s has already been taken then the next available number will be delegated to you. We are not capping the number of tickets sold.
Ticket sales will close off 9pm Thursday 26th March 2026 and will be drawn 8pm Friday 27th March 2026. Any ticket numbers drawn that haven't been paid and with monies showing in the allocated bank account, will be redrawn. Results will be posted immediately on Facebook that evening following the draw.

There will be options of possible delivery of prizes within a 10km radius of Whenuapai Air Scout Den over Saturday 28th March / Sunday 29th March 2026 or can be collected from the Whenuapai Air Scout Den Monday 30th March at 7pm -8pm corner of Kowhai and Puriri. 📣 Registrations are open for the National Scout Aviation School held in the Manawatu 5th - 12th April 2026 ✈️
🛩 The Aviation School is for Scouts 12+ and gives attendees the chance to both fly a plane, and learn about the aviation industry. It gives attendees a unique insight into the basics of flight and is a useful stepping stone for those interested in all aspects of aviation.
Run by real pilots and real engineers, you'll get to fly with just you and an instructor! With the opportunity to enjoy a week of learning and hands-on tasks – including flying an aircraft, microlight and glider.

Hi all,
We are having some trouble to get an invite out to everyone over Mahitahi.
This camp tomorrow is open to all our sections. Keas, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers.
If your child wants to attend and there has been no email invite please don't worry. We are having paper permission forms at the Den. Please take the time and fill one in and hand the second page back to us Leaders.
I will add a screenshot of the Mahitahi event with the packaging list. Please remember your Scout will need closed toe shoes. Crocks can be a backup pair, but for most activities it needs to be runner shoes.
We will see you all tomorrow.
