Our purpose is to provide quality, life-long, learning opportunities for our community. Be inspired, up-skilled, entertained, educated or exercised. Need to refresh your computer skills? We can help you gain confidence and boost your competency. Wanting a new hobby or interest? There's something for everyone in our programme! Hoping to meet like-minded others? Community classes are a great way to meet others who live nearby. Our 200+ tutors are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. Most have teaching qualifications and many are industry experts in their fields. We schedule more than 700 courses each year including:
art, business, computing, crafts, textiles, English for speakers of other languages, cooking, fitness, health, home & garden, DIY, languages, music and dance, photography, writing, yoga, and personal development. The majority of our courses are run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. We have a smaller number of day-time classes, and about six times per year we run weekend programmes.
