The rain and wind are holding off for now, so we are going ahead this morning! Come along from about 8.30am.

This Saturday 11th October we are hosting a working bee to tackle the hedge and grounds. Come along and lend a hand from about 9am until we get it done!

Bring gardening gloves, rakes, secatuers and w**d pullers and garden waste bags for collecting the hedge trimmings. It's a big Spring Clean for the garden, in preparation for Summer opening day on the 9th of November.

Changing of the guard!

Some of our hard working committee members are moving on, so we are building a great new team of energetic volunteers.

One essential voluntary role is yet to be filled. We need a new Chairperson to help steer the team, with some exciting projects in the pipeline and the chance to give back to a much loved community.

Meeting Facilitation
-Set regular meetings with committee members, security staff and trustees
-Set agenda for all meetings in conjunction with secretary
-Maintain momentum at meetings and ensure action register is recorded
-Record all decisions made with secretary and create action register
-Delegate roles to committee members to ensure they are included and best utilised

Strategy and Governance
-Set strategy and project priorities with trustees and committee members
-Ensure constitution is upheld
-Ensure charities status is adhered to and necessary paperwork is completed (by chair or persons delegated to do so by chairperson)
-Ensure the RPCF is available to everyone it was intended for and remains a key part of the community.

A big shout out to one of our hardest working committee members, leaving Wanaka today for new adventures.

Craig has worked many unpaid hours; fixing the pool and spa, ensuring the grounds look beautiful, checking the camera footage for those fence jumpers and the late night spa party shenanigans.

Thanks Craig, the facility cannot run without volunteers like you! Your calm steady hand and knowledge of our archaic spa system has been much appreciated by all of us on the committee.
