Unfortunately we need to close the pool early this Saturday and Sunday at 4.00pm.

This is a temporary measure as we are a bit short on qualified lifeguards as we train new hires and bring them up to speed. Due to our limited numbers, we're not able to operate the pool safely and need to close early.

The indoor courts will be open until the usual closing time of 8.00pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this early closure.

Serving up something fun in Wānaka! 🏓Wānaka Recreation Centre and Paetara Aspiring Central are the places to be.

Whether you're after a casual rally or keen to try something new, badminton and table tennis have a permanent home here. Grab a mate, grab a racket, and get amongst it. Here are our session times:

Badminton
👉 PAC — Tuesdays, 6.00–8.00pm
👉 WRC — Sundays, 3.00–5.00pm

Table Tennis
👉 WRC — Tuesdays, 9.00–11.00am
👉 PAC — Tuesdays, 6.00–8.00pm
👉 WRC — Sundays, 3.00–5.00pm

It's just $6.50 per session or $58.50 for a 10 visit pass.

Just a heads up that we've got a couple of early closures coming up.

Tomorrow the pool is closing early at 4.00pm (stadium open until 8.00pm) due to staff illness. The flu that is doing the rounds has really impacted our roster.

Next Friday 4 September we have a full facility closure for our evacuation training. We'll close at 6.00pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
