Learn to Play Pickleball sessionss start 9 June at Paetara Aspiring Central! These sessions are perfect for beginners that would like an introduction to the rules, scoring system and basic way to play.

This is not coaching! It's a guided hour to learn the basics. No need to book just turn up - it's just $6 per session or you can buy a 10 visit pass for $54.

Your Zumba happy hour is back! Let's sweat, smile, and dance together again.

Starting from 5 June our sessions will run:

💃Fridays: 5.30pm
💃Saturdays: 9.15am

Sessions are just $13 or you can buy a 10 visit pass for $117.

No need to book, just turn up!

We have two school swim carnivals on in the lap pool. The first is tomorrow and the other one is in June, so here's what you need know!

🏊Friday 29 May 8.45am - 3.00pm - Wānaka Primary School have booked the lap pool, and the dry side change rooms. The learner pool and hot pool are open!

We now have a barking lot at Wānaka Recreation Centre!

A big shout out to Ian Maxwell, volunteer coordinator at Wanaka Community Workshop . Without the support of Ian or the community workshop this wouldn't be possible.

The Barking Lot comes with some great features - there's a water bowl, shade, hook to tie up your pupper, and a 'pet friendly' or 'not pet friendly' sign (think disturb or do not disturb hotel door signs).

Serving up something fun in Wānaka! 🏓Wānaka Recreation Centre and Paetara Aspiring Central are the places to be.

Whether you're after a casual rally or keen to try something new, badminton and table tennis have a permanent home here. Grab a mate, grab a racket, and get amongst it. Here are our session times:

Badminton
👉 PAC — Tuesdays, 6.00–8.00pm
👉 WRC — Sundays, 3.00–5.00pm

Table Tennis
👉 WRC — Tuesdays, 9.00–11.00am
👉 PAC — Tuesdays, 6.00–8.00pm
👉 WRC — Sundays, 3.00–5.00pm

Just $6 per session or $54 for 10 sessions. No experience needed, just turn up and have a hit!

Due to unforeseen staff shortages, our pool will be closing early tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.

-Thursday 30th April @ 6.30pm
-Friday 1st May @ 7.30pm (TBC)
-Sunday 3rd May @ 4pm
