Enlightenment is the only true and final achievement of all genuine followers of Buddhism for those people who have procured their rare human life. In a general sense, painless bliss, fearless peace, unbinding liberty and Bodhi-knowledge without unawareness are together termed ‘Enlightenment’. In brief, this is also the final destination or ultimate desire of every human being. Unknowingly, our society has devoted itself to various particular fields like farming, office, industry, job, factories, social work and political fields for their lifetime but all the while avoiding devotion to the general field of Enlightenment, which is the search for knowledge of how to achieve the true happiness, peace and liberation. In a similar way, people involved in different occupational activities have either achieved physical success or have experienced failure. Even if we examine those considered successful in their careers, we cannot find any who have, through purely physical means, achieved their ultimate goal of true happiness. Just as a thirsty person can never quench his thirst by drinking salty water so no person can achieve full spiritual peace through purely physical means. Our history and nature itself is testimony to this creation of our world, which is perishable, mortal and temporary. Thus, our each and every wish is unachievable through these available physical means and facilities. In light of this meaning, why do we insist on spending our life through these physical sources, a life that is passed through indulging physical achievements without any knowledge of past, present or future is like a horse running in a field which gives no thought to turning right or left. Why don’t we take the path for happiness of each and every person, for today and tomorrow? Despite the fact that the past and future are unseen due to our lack of knowledge, we still want to know what were we were in our previous lives. What did we do there? What sort of happiness or sorrow was experienced there? Where will we be born in our next life? What kind of situation will we face there? It can be said that the answers to these questions could be perceived without the religious knowledge too. This assumes that our past life, past karma from our previous lives could be known and their effects on our present physical and mental situation could be understood. Our present sources of happiness and misery, our current health and physical, our lifespan and other things we have in this life all depend on the karma from our previous lives. Lord Buddha says that the situation of happiness or sorrow forms in the next life can be analysed today by inspecting our present Karma. Every people regardless of caste, creed, religion, or nationality should basically learn the essence of knowledge in order to know the perfect identity of happiness and sorrow so that subsequently we can make our life worthwhile from each and every side. Trying to realize of euphoric Enlightenment without following the Sutras of the Tripitaka, the Sacred Ta**ra, the effective and simple and sacred Ta**ras or the practice of meditative Sadhana is as futile as trying to find something valuable in pitch darkness. The MDFPF was developed to help us fulfill our quest for Enlightenment. Your help for this foundation is also equally essential for the operation and globalization of this foundation.
