7 DAYS TO GO! 🕊️⏰

The day we have all been waiting for is almost here.

In just 7 days – on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 – leaders, youth, traditional rulers, and peacebuilders from Ilobu, Erin-Osun, and Ifon-Orolu will gather at Brymo Hotels, Agunbelewo, Osogbo for the Multi-Stakeholder Peace Summit.

This is not just another meeting. This is where voices become action. Where commitments become reality. Where the Youth Ambassadors for Peace will present their community action plans, traditional rulers will renew their pledges to dialogue, and together, we will draft a shared framework for lasting peace – the Osun Tri-Community Peace Accord.

Three communities. One shared future. The countdown has begun.

Will you be part of history? Stay tuned.

Ilobu Spoke. Peace Answered.

On Saturday, May 16th, 2026, the Project held its third and final Town Hall Meeting in Ilobu, bringing to a close a series of community dialogues that began in Erin-Osun and Ifon-Orolu. It was a day of honest conversation, collective reflection, and renewed hope.

The hall was filled with traditional leaders, community elders, youth, women, and our Youth Ambassadors for Peace. The discussions were deep, sometimes difficult, but always respectful. Issues of land, trust, and the future were laid bare – not to divide, but to heal. The commitment to peace was loud and clear.

As the last in the series, this Town Hall marked a significant milestone. Three communities, three dialogues, one shared resolve: to choose peace over violence, dialogue over confrontation, and unity over division.

We thank the Olobu of Ilobu and his chiefs, the Ilobu Development Union, and every single person who showed up and spoke up. The road to lasting peace is long, but together, we are walking it.

Few days ago, young leaders, civil society actors, and policy advocates across Ogun State came together for the One-Day Policy Advocacy and Monitoring Workshop themed “Strengthening Youth Voices for Policy Action: Advocacy, Monitoring, and Institutional Reform in Ogun State.”

The workshop created an important space for conversations around youth participation, governance, accountability, and the need for stronger institutional frameworks that prioritize young people in Ogun State. Participants were equipped with practical knowledge on policy advocacy, monitoring government commitments, and engaging decision-makers effectively.

One major highlight of the workshop was the formation of the Ogun Youth Policy Advocacy Network (OYPAN) — a growing coalition of youth leaders and stakeholders committed to advancing youth-focused policy reforms, accountability, and sustained civic engagement across the state.

This is more than a workshop. It is the beginning of stronger collaboration and collective action for sustainable youth development in Ogun State.

Ifon-Orolu Spoke at the TownHall Meeting today!

Today, May 7th, 2026, the Project held its Town Hall Meeting at the Carpenters and Bricklayers Hall, Ayetoro, Ifon-Osun.

Community members – young and old, men and women, traditional leaders and union representatives – came together. Not to fight. Not to assign blame. But to talk. To listen. To ask hard questions. And to begin imagining a future where peace is possible.

The conversation was honest. At times, it was heavy. But it was necessary.

Our Youth Ambassadors for Peace from Ifon-Orolu were formally introduced – young men and women who have volunteered to lead peace efforts from within their community. They are not waiting for peace to come. They are building it.

We are grateful to the Ifon-Orolu community for hosting us, and to everyone who showed up; because peace is not built by spectators. It is built by those who are willing to sit together, disagree respectfully, and still choose to stay in the room.

Dialogue is not easy. But it is the only way.

This is the second Town Hall in the series. First was Erin-Osun. Now Ifon-Orolu. Ilobu is coming soon. Each community is speaking. Each has shown courage.

The road ahead is long. But today, in that hall, hope was present.
