Beyond the Basics: Meet Arduino.

From blinking lights to automated systems, Arduino makes it possible to turn ideas into working projects.

The learners were introduced to Arduino and explored how the board can be programmed to interact with electronic components.

Through the practical session, they began learning how code and hardware work together to create different functions and responses.

It was a hands-on introduction to electronics, programming, and the possibilities that come with building technology from scratch.

Technology becomes more meaningful when learners can see their ideas work beyond the screen.

The learners got their hands on Raspberry Pi and explored how it can be used to turn simple instructions into something physical.

The practical session focused on building a traffic light system. 🚦 The learners worked with different components, connected them together, tested their setup, and observed how the lights changed in sequence.

Beyond building the project, the activity helped them understand the connection between coding, electronics, and automation. They could see how a few lines of instructions can control physical components and produce a real-world result.

It was also an opportunity for them to experiment, troubleshoot, and understand what happens when the different parts of a system work together.

From a small Raspberry Pi to a working traffic light, the project showed the learners that technology is not only something to use it is something they can build.

Small Board, Big Possibilities.

Technology becomes more exciting when you can see how ideas move from the screen into the real world.

Our learners were introduced to the Raspberry Pi, exploring the tiny computer and how it can be used to build, experiment, and create different technology projects.

The session included hands-on practice, giving each learner the opportunity to interact with the Raspberry Pi and get familiar with how it works.

From understanding the different parts to exploring what they can create with it, the learners are taking another step into the world of STEM and technology.

That is where coding comes in.

The session focused on helping the learners understand how coding can be used to give instructions, solve simple problems, and create something that works.

The session went beyond theory. Each learner had the opportunity to practise coding by themselves, write simple commands, test their work, and make corrections when things didn’t go as expected.

This hands-on experience helped them understand coding as more than just writing lines of text. It is a way to think, solve problems, and build ideas.

With every line of code they write, our learners are becoming more confident and discovering what they can create with technology.

From Curiosity to Creating with Electronics.

Today’s learning focused on an Introduction to Electronics.

Our learners were introduced to the basics of electronics, exploring how electronic components work together and how they are used to create everyday devices and systems.

The session also included practical activities, giving them the opportunity to explore what they learned and build a better understanding of electronics.

Another step towards turning ideas into things they can build.

Think Before You Send.

Good communication is not only about what we say, but also how, where, and when we say it.

Our learners explored online communication and how to communicate responsibly in digital spaces.

They learned the importance of using the right tone, choosing appropriate words, responding respectfully, and understanding that messages can easily be misunderstood without face-to-face interaction.

The session also covered communication through emails, chats, social media, and other digital platforms, with a focus on being mindful of what we share and how we interact online.

Through practical activities and discussions, the learners had the opportunity to apply these skills and understand the role of effective communication in today’s digital world.
