Today, members of the Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association (BACDA) proudly participated in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in compliance with the directive of the Borno State Ministry of Environment through BOSEPA, which designates the end of every month as Environmental Sanitation Day.

Under the exemplary leadership of Alhaji Rawana Usman Malah, Chairman of BACDA, members came out in large numbers to clean our surroundings, clear drainages, remove refuse, and promote a healthier and more hygienic environment for everyone.

A clean environment is a shared responsibility. We sincerely appreciate all community members and volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make today’s sanitation exercise a success. Your commitment reflects our collective determination to build a cleaner, safer, and healthier Bulabulin Alhajiri.

BACDA CHAIRMAN AND CHAIRWOMAN PARTICIPATE IN SANITATION EXERCISE AT SHEHU’S PALACE AND YA MAIRA RESIDENCE

The Chairman and Chairwoman of the Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association (BACDA) joined other stakeholders in a sanitation exercise at the Shehu’s Palace and the residence of Ya Maira following an invitation from the General Manager of the Borno State Environmental Protection Agency (BOSEPA), Alhaji Sulaiman Abubakar.

The exercise formed part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and strengthen community participation in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment. The presence of the Association’s leadership demonstrated BACDA’s commitment to supporting government initiatives aimed at improving sanitation and public health across the state.

Speaking after the exercise, the Association’s leadership expressed appreciation to the General Manager of BOSEPA for the invitation and commended his dedication to environmental protection and community development. They emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in keeping public places and residential areas clean, particularly in view of the current cholera outbreak.

The Association reaffirmed its readiness to continue collaborating with BOSEPA and other relevant stakeholders in advancing environmental sanitation and safeguarding the health and well-being of the community.

BULABULIN ALHAJIRI COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION PARTICIPATES IN MONTHLY SANITATION EXERCISE

The Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association (BACDA) actively participated in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise held today within the community. The sanitation activities were carried out along Alhajiri Main Road and Bagoi Bulama Street, with members turning out in large numbers to clean and beautify the environment.

Speaking during the exercise, the Chairman of the Association expressed his appreciation to all community members for their commitment, cooperation, and active participation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. He commended the collective efforts of residents and volunteers who contributed to the success of the sanitation exercise.

The Chairman also acknowledged and praised the outstanding work of the General Manager of the Borno State Environmental Protection Agency (BOSEPA), Alhaji Sulaiman Abubakar, for his dedication and commitment to environmental cleanliness and public health across the state.

Furthermore, he urged residents to sustain the culture of environmental hygiene, especially in light of the current cholera outbreak. The Chairman of Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association (BACDA), together with the Executive Members and the entire community leadership, participated in a chlorination exercise at Bulabulin Alhajiri Day Secondary School. This important public health intervention was carried out in partnership with Terre des Hommes (TDH) as part of efforts to prevent and control the spread of cholera following the recent outbreak within the Maiduguri Metropolitan Council (MMC).

The chlorination activity focused on improving water safety and promoting hygienic practices within the school and surrounding community. The exercise was conducted successfully, with active participation from community members, school representatives, and TDH staff. The intervention contributed significantly to raising awareness about cholera prevention and ensuring access to safer water sources.

The Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association recognizes the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing public health challenges and remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote the well-being of community members.

May this blessed occasion of Eid bring peace, happiness, prosperity, and countless blessings to every home. As we celebrate in faith and unity, we pray that Almighty Allah accepts our sacrifices, and supplications.

The Chairman of the Association also prays for lasting peace, unity, progress, and development in our dear state and the nation at large. May harmony continue to reign among our people, and may our communities remain safe, strong, and united.

The Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association proudly participated in the APC Presidential Primary gathering in a massive show of solidarity and unwavering support for the administration of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima.

The association, alongside thousands of enthusiastic supporters, reaffirmed its commitment to the continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections. Members of the community came out in large numbers to demonstrate their confidence in the leadership, policies, and developmental strides of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Tinubu-Shettima administration.

The association also commended the exceptional leadership of His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, Executive Governor of Borno State, for his tireless commitment to peace, reconstruction, development, and good governance across the state. The people expressed deep appreciation for his visionary leadership and impactful achievements, which have continued to transform the lives of citizens throughout Borno State.

Furthermore, the Bulabulin Alhajiri Community Development Association declared its total support for Engr. Mustapha Gubio as the preferred flag bearer and successor to continue the progressive leadership and developmental agenda in Borno State under the APC platform.
