Over the past two days, 150 humanitarian frontline workers came together for an intensive training on Disability Inclusion Programming. Participants included program officers, case workers, community mobilizers, and representatives from key Government MDAs, including Health, Social Welfare, Primary Health Care, and Rehabilitation Officers.
The training strengthened knowledge and practical skills needed to ensure that people with disabilities are included in humanitarian and community-based programs. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and shared experiences, participants explored strategies to make programs more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to diverse needs.
This important initiative is supported by the Nigerian Humanitarian Fund (NHF) and implemented by Hallmark Leadership Initiative (HALI), reaffirming our collective commitment to building systems that leave no one behind.
Together, we are advancing inclusive humanitarian work and supporting frontline workers to make lasting change in their communities.
