What happens when families affected by conflict no longer have access to basic hygiene and protection items?

In Magumeri (Borno State) and Gujba (Yobe State), Grow Strong Foundation (GSF) is responding through the newly onboarded SCALE Reserve Allocation NHF Project with the distribution of dignity kits, hygiene kits, and NFIs to Child Protection and GBV beneficiaries.

The 6-month intervention Scaling Community-Based Multi-Sectoral Life-Saving Protection Services for At-Risk Children, Women, and Families Affected by Conflict in Borno and Yobe States is helping restore dignity, protection, and hope to vulnerable communities.

Because sometimes, the smallest support can restore a person’s sense of safety and humanity.

The final day marked the successful close of the 3 days Capacity Building on Disability Inclusion Programming in Humanitarian Response, with participants demonstrating stronger commitment and practical understanding of inclusive humanitarian action.

Through group work, inclusive project cycle discussions, and action plan presentations, participants strengthened their capacity to apply the IASC Minimum Disability Actions (MDAs) and promote meaningful inclusion of persons with disabilities in humanitarian programming and protection response.

Beyond the training, participants left with practical action plans and renewed commitment to champion disability inclusion within their organizations and communities.

Certificates were issued to participants, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Jameelah Idrees, Executive Director of Grow Strong Foundation (GSF).
