Children don't always need a laboratory to start learning science. Something as simple as watching ice melt, mixing colours or testing which objects float and sink can help them observe, ask questions and discover how things work.

As parents, what everyday activity has your child turned into a little experiment? Share what they discovered or suggest a simple activity another family could try.

Every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow and decide what her future will look like. No girl should have to give up her childhood to marriage.

This International Day of the Girl Child, letโ€™s speak up against child marriage and invest in girlsโ€™ rights, education and opportunities.

At STEAM FunFest, we believe girls deserve the chance to explore STEM, develop their skills and become the innovators and problem-solvers of tomorrow.

At STEAM FunFest, we believe in giving young people the opportunity to learn, try new things, solve problems and discover what they can do.

The Nigeria we want tomorrow starts with what we give our children today.

Your child doesnโ€™t need another worksheet.

They need to feel what engineering actually does.
Look at this table. Four children.

Two syringes. Water. Wood.

A yellow dump truck. No expensive kit.

No lecture. Just a question: Can a small push lift something heavier?

When that platform rises, something clicks that a textbook never delivers.

They see that force can travel through liquid.

They feel resistance in their own hands.

They watch a structure they built either holdโ€ฆ or fail.

And they learn the most important lesson in STEM: if it doesnโ€™t work, we fix it.

That is not โ€œplaying with a toy.โ€

That is Pascalโ€™s principle. Simple machines. Load, pressure, stability.

The same physics that lifts real dump trucks, hospital beds, and construction jacks.

Parents often wait for the โ€œright schoolโ€ or the โ€œright program.โ€

This is the program. A classroom table. Curious hands. A problem they can solve before lunch.

If your child can explain why the truck went up not just that it went up they are already ahead of most adults who only memorized the definition.

Support this kind of learning.

Not because it looks impressive in a photo.

Because the next time the world asks them to build something that actually works, they will already know how it feels.
