Upcycle your wardrobe with Annabelle -

What if transformation didn't require starting from scratch?
This workshop is an invitation to look at your existing wardrobe with fresh eyes — and a stylist's hands.

Our first session of Upcyle Your Wardrobe, in 2025, was a true gathering — participants arrived with tired pieces and left with transformed ones, having learned several techniques that completely changed the way they saw their clothes.
This session, we go deeper.

You will learn to read your proportions and modernise what you already own into pieces you actually want to wear. And the stars of the day? Snap buttons and pleats — two techniques that are simple, satisfying x transformative.
No fabric wasted. No piece left behind.

Whether you are new to upcycling or returning from last year, come ready to work with your hands and reconnect with the clothes that already belong to you.

Event Timing: June 13, from 9am to 12.30 pm
Event Address: , Quartier General, St Pierre [ https://maps.app.goo.gl/itT9RBdojfm4UAGA9 ]
Price: rs 1400
Bring a few items from your wardrobe that you'd like to renew, with snap buttons and pleats, the rest of the material will be provided.

Meet our workshop lead for June 13th Upcycle Your Wardrobe: Annabelle aka Lapin blanc, a stylist, seamstress x all-around creative force in the advertising x cinema industries.

From made-to-measure clothing for artists x stage performers to dressing film stars, she’s all about turning visions into reality. When she’s not busy elevating cultural events with her custom décor, you can often find her crafting jewelry.

Known for her eye for detail and problem-solving creativity, Annabelle is also launching a clothing line which focuses exclusively on upcycling. She believes designers have responsibility in making a positive environmental impact through fashion. Beyond her professional life, Annabelle has a deep connection to spirituality and her recent fascination with snorkeling has sparked a new chapter of personal exploration (apparently, fish make great company).

This month, we're hosting an initiation to Visible Mending, for !

Learn some eco-habits and have a fun time learning a new craft by joining our Initiation to Visible Mending at Bookshop & Cafe! This workshop will welcome you into the beautiful world of textile visible mending, learning hand sewing and embroidery techniques to creatively mend your textile pieces while adorning them. No prior knowledge needed to join.

*What is Visible Mending? Visible mending is a form of repair work, usually on textile items, that is deliberately left visible. The goal is to repair the item and adorn it at the same time. Sometimes the goal can also be to also attract attention to the fact it has been mended in some way, often as a statement or philosophy.
