Accompagner les jeunes volontaires de l'Interact Club MGSS Moka.

Dans le cadre de la Journée Internationale des Droits de la Femme, notre club a renouvelé une action solidaire au profit des jeunes filles du Foyer Monseigneur Leen, situé à Rose Hill.

Cette édition revêtait un caractère tout particulier par la participation du Club Interact MGSS Moka, à travers l’encadrement de ces jeunes volontaires par Poush, l’un de nos membres fondateurs.

Cette collaboration intergénérationnelle illustre pleinement la transmission des valeurs de service et de solidarité qui nous animent.

Fidèles à notre engagement en faveur de la dignité et du bien-être des femmes, nous avons procédé à une donation de sous-vêtements neufs, répondant à des besoins essentiels souvent peu visibles, ainsi qu’à une distribution de douceurs, apportant chaleur et réconfort à ce moment de partage.

Il n’y a pas de petites actions, seulement des actions qui ont un impact surtout par des jeunes pour des jeunes. Nous sommes particulièrement heureuses d’avoir pu offrir à ces jeunes volontaires l’opportunité de s’impliquer concrètement dans une œuvre sociale, contribuant ainsi à former des citoyens engagés et responsables.

À travers cette initiative, notre club réaffirme sa volonté d’agir de manière tangible et durable en faveur des jeunes filles, en leur apportant soutien, considération et espoir.

Happy Independence Day!

The national flag of Mauritius, also known as the "Four Bands" or "Les Quatre Bandes", was adopted on March 12, 1968, when the island gained independence from the United Kingdom. It consists of four horizontal stripes of equal width, each carrying a specific symbolic meaning.

The colors of the flag represent the country's journey to freedom and its natural environment:
• Red: Represents the struggle for freedom and independence. It is also often associated with the blood of ancestors and enslaved people who helped build the nation.
• Blue: Symbolizes the Indian Ocean, in which the island of Mauritius is situated.
• Yellow: Represents the new light of independence and freedom shining over the island. It is also associated with the island's warmth and sunshine.
• Green: Represents the lush vegetation and agriculture of Mauritius, particularly its greenery which remains throughout all 12 months of the year.
