An educator at heart and founder of 𝐒.𝐒.𝐒 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, Mrs. Sewnath has devoted her career to empowering women entrepreneurs across Mauritius. Through structured training, practical guidance and mindset development, she has helped countless women turn ideas into thriving businesses.

Her journey is a testament to resilience, determination and leadership. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a mentor and advocate for women in business, inspiring them to overcome challenges, embrace opportunities and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, organised by the Global Entrepreneurship Network Mauritius in collaboration with Empretec Mauritius, brought students together at UNIVERSITÉ DES MASCAREIGNES s for the “Inspiring the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs” workshop.

Our CEO, Mr Sanjay G. Mungur delivered an inspiring and engaging session, sharing his entrepreneurial journey, the lessons learned, the challenges overcome and the impact of perseverance in building meaningful ventures.

The workshop was also supported by the Pôle Étudiant Entreprendre Mascareignes -PEEM, a dedicated initiative of the university that empowers students with entrepreneurial potential and helps bring their ideas and projects to life.

Students left with invaluable insights, understanding the importance of education, the need to develop strong hard skills and the role of networking in creating future opportunities. It was a moment to learn, reflect and broaden their vision as emerging innovators.
