After our meeting with representatives of the Malta Police Force and the Commissioner of Police earlier this year, we are pleased to communicate that the Police Force has confirmed this morning that the Doctor’s Health Certification form will now be required every five years. The next submission will be due in 2030, regardless of previous certifications.

We take this opportunity to publicly thank all Police Officers involved in our discussions and appreciate the consolidation of our suggestions during discussions at MEUSAC which included all stakeholders throughout 2019. These changes are part of the amendments required by the New EU Arms Directive, which came into force in 2020.

As always, we remain ready to engage with Authorities on topics that enhance our Target Shooting and Collectors community standing in Malta.
