This is a dish of millet flour, or Sorghum flour cooked with water to a hardened dough-like consistency (like Ugali from Maize Flour). Traditional foods help sustain nutrition not in humans alone, but also the soil !!!

Mount Kirinyaga !!! It is high time we rename the Mountain & our Nation to its original name. Mount Kirinyaga was named 'Mount Kenya' by the Colonials & just because it's easy to pronounce.
A great Nation has to fix history by rectifying the errors made in history itself !!!

Let us wake up to protect Our Cultures ... Our Native Mother Tongue is an important aspect of our Culture.
Many Local languages in Kenya face extinction
For example fewer than 10 elders speak Yakunte, a language native to Kenya's Yaaku people. Yaaku population is very small, only about 4000. The Yaaku are now considered a Sub Tribe of the Maasai.
Only about 7 elders (all above 70) speak Yakunte.
Together we need to do something
