Today, we had a very impactful workshop at SOTE Hub on Compliance, Governance and Formalisation, Financial Literacy, and Investment Readiness.

The knowledge we gain today is not just for certificates or discussions—it is a foundation for building stronger youth groups, sustainable community organizations, and successful enterprises. As young people, we must understand that great ideas need good governance, proper compliance, financial discipline, and readiness for investment to grow and create lasting impact.

Let us move beyond having dreams and ideas only. Let us build organisations and businesses that are formal, accountable, transparent, financially responsible, and ready for opportunities and investment.

To the youth and our communities: The future belongs to those who prepare themselves today. Learn, organise, comply, invest wisely, and build something that will outlive you. Every small step towards knowledge and good governance is a step towards a stronger and more empowered community.

Yesterday, Junda Kasarani Reform CBO had the honor of being welcomed at the DAYO Office to officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the DARAJA Project on climate change.

The event brought together representatives from the Kenya Meteorological Service, the Mombasa County Department of Disaster Management, and the Department of Environment – Solid Waste Management.

We are truly honored and grateful for this opportunity. Signing this MoU marks the beginning of a strong partnership committed to addressing climate change, promoting environmental conservation, and building more resilient communities.

We look forward to working together to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for everyone.

We carried out a drainage system clean-up to help keep Mombasa clean and reduce the impact of climate change. Clean drainage systems help prevent flooding, protect our environment, and create healthier communities.

This activity is a clear reminder that climate action starts with all of us. Together, we can build a cleaner, greener, and more resilient Mombasa.

As always, today Junda Kasarani Reform CBO successfully carried out a dumpsite clean-up exercise at Shofco Makumba. Together, we continue to promote a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for our community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Mombasa County Department of environment, Solid Waste Management and Energy for their continued support and partnership in making these initiatives possible.
