lopment programs and employability training. With an assembled team of experts, professional trainers, micro, medium and small sized enterprises (MSMEs) development facilitators and business leaders, BDC operates the most comprehensive developmental portfolios within the Kingdom. Created as a non-profit in Jordan, to accelerate regional economic development, BDC utilizes private sector efficiency to provide capacity building, export development, MSME advisory services, career and entrepreneurial development programs to multilateral beneficiaries. To achieve this end, BDC utilizes best practice methodologies and remains at the forefront of academic research by creating and sustaining international and local university partnerships. BDC’s strength lies in its ability to accurately assess market demands, design developmental programs accordingly provide linkages that build business opportunities, effectively administrate training programs and deliver customized solutions to the development arena. The following objectives align with BDC’s mission. Manage, promote and stimulate the creation of Public-Private Partnerships. Promote corporate social responsibility, and occupational safety, health and environmental standards. Promote entrepreneurship. Maximize the benefits of free-trade agreements. Enhance the competitiveness, sustainability and export capabilities of SMEs. Foster financial linkages between SMEs and financial resources. Create employment opportunities and build individual capacity for recent college graduates, young professionals and women of the region. Design and manage programming for development and donor organizations. Build capacity of public and private sector organizations and management. Develop mutually beneficial relationships with international universities.
مركز تطوير الأعمال هو مركز أردني غير ربحي يساهم في التنمية الاقتصادية من خلال تصميم وتنفيذ البرامج التنموية التي تهدف إلى خلق فرص عمل للأردنيين وبث روح الريادة وزيادة تنافسية الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة. كما يقوم المركز بإدارة العديد من مشاريع التنمية الاقتصادية لعدد من الجهات الحكومية والجهات المانحة.
ويعتبر المركز أحد المؤسسات الرائدة في مجال التنمية والتدريب كونه يستهدف احتياجات السوق وتطوير الاستراتيجيات والبرامج الخاصة بتنمية الأفراد والمجتمعات بطرق مبتكرة والتي تقوم أساسا على مرتكزات عدّه، من أبرزها مساعدة المؤسسات لتعزيز قدراتها التنافسية وتزويد الأفراد بالمعرفة والمهارات اللازمة لتحقيق ذلك. كما يعمل على الشراكة مع مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص، لتنمية الاقتصاد الوطني وتمكين المجتمعات. كما يهدف إلى حفز الطاقات لدى الشباب وتزويدهم بالسلوكيات الريادية اللازمة لمواجهة التحديات الاقتصادية في المنطقة.
