We were proud to join the Governor-General’s I Believe Initiative at King’s House for the 2026 Summer of Service Presentation Ceremony, celebrating young Jamaicans who have demonstrated leadership, service and a commitment to making a difference in their communities. 🇯🇲

Through our continued support of the Summer of Service Programme, the JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation is helping to create pathways to tertiary education for young people whose actions already reflect the kind of change they want to see in Jamaica.

The ceremony was a reminder that service can be the starting point for something even greater. We celebrate this year’s awardees and look forward to seeing how they continue to learn, lead and serve. 🎓❤️

We Recently welcomed donor Dante Buckley to Cottage Road, St. James, for an opportunity to see the Community Restart Project in action and connect with the community at the heart of the work. ❤️🏡

The visit also included the donation of essential supplies to residents, adding another layer of support as families continue rebuilding and moving forward.

The Community Restart Project is about restoring more than homes. It helps families regain stability, dignity and a stronger foundation for what comes next. Partnerships and donor support make that work possible.

Recently, our team had a wonderful time visiting Winsome Wishes For Kids Summer Fun Reading Literacy Boost Programme, where children spent their summer strengthening their literacy skills through storytelling, creativity and interactive learning in a fun, supportive environment.

For five years, the JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation has proudly partnered with Winsome Wishes For Kids to help create spaces where young minds can grow in confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Together, we continue to invest in opportunities that empower children to discover their greatness, one story at a time. ❤️

Congratulations to Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls on earning a historic second consecutive Commonwealth Games silver medal! 🇯🇲

This achievement reflects the courage, discipline and belief that continue to define Jamaican netball. At the JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation, we are proud to support the wider development of the sport through our partnership with Netball Jamaica, helping to strengthen the people and systems that nurture greatness at every level. 💛

As the Sunshine Girls look ahead to the Horizon Series against England and the journey toward the 2027 Netball World Cup, we wish the players, coaches and support team continued success. May this moment inspire the next generation of Jamaican netballers to believe in their potential, embrace their greatness and carry the game even further. 🌟🏐
