The Bosdet Foundation We are a Jersey-based foundation that seeks to help improve the lives of children in our community

Welcome to The Bosdet Foundation, owners of Les Ormes
We are a Jersey-based foundation that seeks to help improve our community through granting funds to local charities and supporting them. It is thanks to our staying guests and leisure users at Les Ormes, whose spend creates the profits, that we are able to give so much back to the Island.

A powerful reflection from the Jersey Child Care Trust — well worth a read.

Reflecting on 2025, our Chief Executive Officer, Fiona Vacher shared how our longstanding workforce embraced a bold challenge, to be brave, to learn and to do some things differently.

"They not only rose to the challenge - they excelled. I have watched our team develop in confidence, skill and determination. I couldn't be prouder of the way they have evolved to meet the complex needs of the children and families we support."

Together JCCT provided life-changing experiences for hundred of children, ensuring they have the opportunities, care and support they deserve to thrive.

Alan Le Pavoux, The Bosdet Foundation charity manager, is a truly deserving nominee for the Pride of Jersey 'Ambassador of the Year' award.

Alan has played a vital role in creating and sustaining initiatives that truly make a difference to children in the Island. He started Camp Bosdet in 2020 to help children impacted by lockdown, and five years later, under his caring guidance, it is still giving hundreds of children truly memorable experiences.

As Bosdet's tireless charity manager for the past 11 years, Alan has helped distribute funds from the profits at Les Ormes Resort to various children's charities in the Island. He also set up Volunteer.je, is co-founder of the Jersey Aquatic Rescue Club, and is a Community First Responder.

Alan was nominated by Rachel Wright who said,’ Alan is nothing short of a local hero and a true ambassador for the Island and everything it stands for.' Please click the link and vote for Alan.

What a summer it's been at Camp Bosdet! Over 200 children from Year 4 to Year 7 have enjoyed days full of fun and activIties - and we still have a week to go!
All the costs of the camp are covered by The Bosdet Foundation from the profits made at Les Ormes Resort. As well as a great adventure for the campers, the Foundation employs and trains young people for the duration of camp, giving them valuable qualifications and experience.
