🌲 Christmas ParkRun 🌲

This Saturday 20th Dec we'll be up at Jersey ParkRun to celebrate the festive season. Whether you want to run, support or just join for brekkie after, we'd love to see you. ❤️

We'll be meeting at 8.45am outside the entrance to Les Quennevais Sports Centre.

To allow our members time to rest, Run Club will be CANCELLED tomorrow night. ❌️

Lisa and Alicia were at the ‘Embrace our Difference’ event today chatting to people about the run club and trying to encourage people to join!

It was great to meet all the other organisations doing amazing things and working to make the island more inclusive.

Massive shout out to the one and only Alicia who completed her first marathon last week. Alicia has been running with us from the very start, and her progression has been amazing. 💪

Alicia smashed her goal of 4hrs30, finishing the 26.2 miles/42km in 4hrs15. 😀

It was an absolutely incredible achievement, and we're so proud of her.❤️

Alicia is raising money for both & so that we can continue to support people with barriers to access and enjoy the outdoors. 🏔🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

The BFA crew just wanted to say good luck to , who'll be running the Jersey Marathon on Sunday. 🏃‍♀️💨

Alicia is an OG member of our Friday run club, and it's been such a joy seeing her take her first running steps along the pier over 7 years ago to tackling 42km around the roads of Jersey. It is incredible, and we're all so proud of you! ❤️

Alicia is raising money for both Breath of Fresh Air and , who have supported her immensely over the years. 💪

Huge well done to our runners who absolutely crushed it at last weeks .heart.support Heart to Heart 5k Fun Run. ❤️

Alicia crushed her PB running a brilliant 24:08 and James, Ben and Ella weren’t too far behind all finishing with big smiles!

Thanks for putting on a brilliant event and to all the marshalls giving up their time.

This Friday, instead of our regular run club, some of our BFA crew will be running the Jersey Heart Support Group's 5k!

We'll be meeting at 6.15 by the 1st shelter at West Park to collect bibs ready for a 6.30 start.🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

This is a 5km out and back run along the front to raise money to purchase more mobile defibrillators to use around the island. ❤️

We hope to see as many of you there as possible! 🤞

Another fun-filled evening with these legends. 😍

After a gentle warm-up, we hit some 800m reps in the shelter of the pier ahead of the Heart to Heart 5k next Friday, raising funds for .heart.support ❤️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

Next Friday, instead of our usual run club, we'll be racing the Heart to Heart 5k, which starts at 6.30 at West Park. We hope everyone can make it! 🤞

Last week at run club we did intervals whilst enjoying all of the gorgeous new artwork along the pier.

And to finish we practiced being relaxed whilst running by holding Pringles in our hands and trying not to break them. And as a reward for not breaking them we then got to eat them which obviously was a big hit!
