In this video, Daniel Muñoz, our Digital Strategist, explains how we ensure the authenticity of the images we share.

One of our core principles is our commitment to showing you 100% authentic images.

What you see on our website and institutional social media channels is real and comes from the Foundation’s photo archive.

We use tools such as image banks or generative AI only when we need to visually represent an abstract concept. In those cases, you can rest assured that the content will be clearly labelled, in compliance with European regulations.

🇪🇹 A new academic year is beginning for the newest Lasallian students at Ethiopian Catholic University of St. Thomas Aquinas - Ecusta HLI

Here are a few moments from the university’s orientation day with a tour of some of the laboratories and other facilities at ECU.

In January, ECU celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of students, all of them Lasallian. This is just the beginning of the journeys of our new students, who will help shape the future of healthcare in Ethiopia.

How can you tell if a project is really working?
Our Chief Operating Officer & Program Department Coordinator, María Emilia Marra, explains how we measure real change: by defining objectives and indicators from the start, monitoring each project along the way, and assessing what has concretely changed in people’s lives.

Data, testimonies from the field and, when planned, external evaluations help us correct what doesn’t work and invest where we can have the greatest impact.

Two days of learning, exchange and new perspectives for youth employability!

On 30 September and 1 October 2026, GEN-YOUTH partners took part in the International Online Organisational Management Training, delivered and facilitated by La Salle Andalucía within WP2 – Organisational Capacity Building.

Across two days, participants from Jordan, Algeria, Lebanon and Tunisia explored practical approaches to strengthening their organisations and improving the support they provide to young people.

The training covered key areas including:
• youth outreach and engagement strategies;
• socio-occupational intervention and second-chance education;
• organisational governance and strategic planning;
• SMART indicators and quality management;
• financial sustainability and resource diversification;
• building partnerships with employers and responding to labour-market needs.

The sessions combined presentations, practical examples, group work and peer exchange, giving participants the opportunity to share their own experiences and discuss how the methodologies presented could be adapted to their local contexts.

The training provided a valuable space for cross-country learning and collaboration, strengthening the capacity of South Mediterranean organisations to develop more effective and sustainable youth employability initiatives.
