Caserta e Napoli: quattro giorni che porteremo nel cuore! ❤️
Dal 15 al 18 ottobre, con un gruppo di amici dell'IPA Bolzano-Bozen, abbiamo vissuto quattro giornate davvero speciali, alla scoperta delle bellezze, della storia e delle tradizioni della Campania.
Dalla splendida Reggia di Caserta alle vie storiche di Capua, dalla vivacità di Napoli ai suoi tesori nascosti, come Napoli Sotterranea e il Cristo Velato. Un viaggio ricco di emozioni, curiosità, risate e, naturalmente, ottima cucina!
Ma ciò che ha reso questa gita davvero indimenticabile sono state soprattutto le persone.
Un gruppo straordinario, sempre disponibile, attento agli altri, unito da un bellissimo spirito di amicizia e condivisione.
Tra noi c'era anche Stefano, un amico non vedente che ha vissuto questa esperienza sentendosi parte integrante del gruppo. Per me è stata una delle soddisfazioni più grandi del viaggio. Vedere con quanta naturalezza tutti si siano aiutati, con piccoli gesti e attenzioni spontanee, mi ha regalato qualcosa che va ben oltre il piacere di una bella vacanza.
Un grazie di cuore anche ai nostri amici dell'IPA Campania, in particolare a Luciana, Ugo, Annamaria, Giovanni, Carmine e a tutti gli altri che, con grande disponibilità e amicizia, ci hanno aiutato e fatto sentire i benvenuti.
Un ringraziamento speciale a Carmine, che ci ha accompagnato alla scoperta della storia di Capua e Treglia facendoci rivivere il fascino del suo passato e conoscere, oltre alle sue bellezze, anche i sapori e le primizie della terra campana.
Sono proprio queste attenzioni, questa generosità e questo desiderio di condividere il proprio territorio a rendere ancora più bello lo spirito dell'IPA.
E infine, grazie a tutti i partecipanti. Ognuno ha contribuito, a modo suo, a rendere questi quattro giorni un'esperienza che ricorderò con grande piacere.
Torniamo a casa con tante belle immagini, nuovi ricordi e soprattutto con la conferma che l'amicizia è il viaggio più bello.

Caserta und Neapel: Vier Tage, die in unseren Herzen bleiben! ❤️

Vom 15. bis 18. Oktober haben wir mit einer Gruppe von Freunden der IPA Bolzano-Bozen vier ganz besondere Tage erlebt. Gemeinsam haben wir die schönen Orte, die Geschichte und die Traditionen Kampaniens entdeckt.
Vom prächtigen Königspalast von Caserta bis zu den historischen Straßen von Capua, vom lebendigen Neapel bis zu seinen verborgenen Schätzen wie Napoli Sotterranea und der Skulptur „Der verhüllte Christus“. Eine Reise voller schöner Erlebnisse, neuer Entdeckungen, viel Lachen und natürlich gutem Essen!
Aber vor allem die Menschen haben diese Reise unvergesslich gemacht.
Eine wunderbare Gruppe: Alle waren hilfsbereit, haben aufeinander geachtet und Freundschaft und Gemeinschaft gelebt.
Mit dabei war auch Stefano, ein blinder Freund. Er konnte diese Reise erleben und sich als fester Teil unserer Gruppe fühlen. Für mich war das eine der größten Freuden dieser Reise. Alle haben einander ganz selbstverständlich geholfen, mit kleinen Gesten und viel Aufmerksamkeit. Das hat mir persönlich sehr viel gegeben – weit mehr als nur die Freude an einem schönen Urlaub.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön auch an unsere Freunde der IPA Kampanien, besonders an Luciana, Ugo, Annamaria, Giovanni, Carmine und alle anderen. Mit ihrer Hilfe und Freundschaft haben sie dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns willkommen gefühlt haben.
Ein besonderer Dank geht an Carmine. Er hat uns die Geschichte von Capua nähergebracht und die Vergangenheit der Stadt lebendig werden lassen. Neben den schönen Orten hat er uns auch die Spezialitäten und frischen Produkte Kampaniens gezeigt.
Genau diese Aufmerksamkeit, diese Großzügigkeit und die Freude, anderen die eigene Heimat zu zeigen, machen den Geist der IPA noch schöner.
Und schließlich danke ich allen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern. Jeder hat auf seine Weise dazu beigetragen, dass diese vier Tage zu einem Erlebnis wurden, an das ich mich sehr gerne erinnern werde.
Wir kehren mit vielen schönen Bildern und neuen Erinnerungen nach Hause zurück. Und vor allem mit der Gewissheit: Freundschaft ist die schönste Reise.

Caserta and Naples: Four days that will stay in our hearts! ❤️

From 15 to 18 October, we spent four very special days with a group of friends from IPA Bolzano-Bozen, discovering the beautiful places, history and traditions of Campania.
From the wonderful Royal Palace of Caserta to the historic streets of Capua, from the lively city of Naples to its hidden treasures, such as Naples Underground and the Veiled Christ. A journey full of special moments, new discoveries, laughter and, of course, excellent food!
But above all, it was the people who made this trip unforgettable.
A wonderful group, always ready to help and care for each other, sharing a strong spirit of friendship and togetherness.
Stefano, a blind friend, was also with us. He enjoyed this experience feeling fully part of the group. For me, this was one of the greatest joys of the trip. Everyone helped each other so naturally, through small acts of kindness and care. This gave me something much deeper than just the pleasure of a lovely holiday.
A heartfelt thank you also to our friends from IPA Campania, especially Luciana, Ugo, Annamaria, Giovanni, Carmine and everyone else. With their help and friendship, they made us feel welcome.
A special thank you to Carmine, who helped us discover the history of Capua and brought its past to life. He also introduced us to the beautiful places, local flavours and fresh seasonal produce of Campania.
It is this care, generosity and willingness to share their home region with others that make the spirit of the IPA even more special.
Finally, thank you to everyone who took part. Each person helped, in their own way, to make these four days an experience I will always remember with great pleasure.
We return home with many beautiful images and new memories. Above all, we return knowing once again that friendship is the most beautiful journey.

🎀 UN FILO ROSA CHE CI UNISCE

Una splendida giornata autunnale, una piacevole camminata verso il Castel Juval, il piacere di stare insieme e, per concludere, un buon Törggelen in compagnia.
Ma la giornata organizzata dagli amici del Comitato Locale IPA di Merano aveva anche uno scopo ben preciso.
Abbiamo voluto partecipare alla campagna internazionale “Blue Walks – Pink Cause”, promossa nell'ambito di , per richiamare l'attenzione sull'importanza della prevenzione del tumore al seno e dimostrare la nostra vicinanza alle donne che stanno affrontando questa malattia.
Un filo rosa, tenuto insieme da tante mani, ha accompagnato il nostro messaggio di solidarietà. Donne e uomini, giovani e meno giovani, uniti nel ricordare quanto siano importanti la prevenzione, la vicinanza e il sostegno a chi sta affrontando questa malattia.
Un gesto semplice, che racchiude anche lo spirito della nostra Associazione: esserci gli uni per gli altri, non soltanto nei momenti di festa.
Sono stato davvero contento di aver condiviso questa giornata con gli amici dell'IPA, tra natura, sorrisi e momenti di bella compagnia.
Un grazie di cuore al Comitato Locale IPA di Merano per l'organizzazione e per aver saputo dare a una giornata di amicizia anche un significato così importante.

🎀 EIN ROSA FADEN, DER UNS VERBINDET

Ein herrlicher Herbsttag, ein angenehmer Spaziergang zum Schloss Juval, die Freude am Zusammensein und zum Abschluss ein gutes Törggelen in geselliger Runde.
Doch der von den Freunden des IPA-Ortskomitees Meran organisierte Tag hatte auch ein ganz bestimmtes Ziel.
Wir wollten an der internationalen Kampagne „Blue Walks – Pink Cause“ teilnehmen, die im Rahmen von gefördert wird, um auf die Bedeutung der Brustkrebsvorsorge aufmerksam zu machen und unsere Verbundenheit mit den Frauen zu zeigen, die mit dieser Krankheit zu kämpfen haben.
Ein rosa Faden, der von vielen Händen zusammengehalten wurde, begleitete unsere Botschaft der Solidarität. Frauen und Männer, Jung und Alt – vereint in der Erinnerung daran, wie wichtig Vorsorge, Nähe und Unterstützung für diejenigen sind, die mit dieser Krankheit zu kämpfen haben.
Eine einfache Geste, die auch den Geist unseres Vereins verkörpert: füreinander da zu sein, nicht nur in festlichen Momenten.
Ich habe mich wirklich gefreut, diesen Tag mit den Freunden der IPA zu verbringen – inmitten der Natur, mit viel Lachen und in schöner Gesellschaft.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den IPA-Ortsverband Meran für die Organisation und dafür, dass er einem Tag der Freundschaft eine so wichtige Bedeutung verliehen hat.

🎀 A PINK THREAD THAT UNITES US

A splendid autumn day, a pleasant walk to Castel Juval, the joy of being together and, to round it off, a lovely Törggelen with friends.
But the day organised by our friends at the Merano Local IPA Committee also had a very specific purpose.
We wanted to take part in the international ‘Blue Walks – Pink Cause’ campaign, promoted as part of , to draw attention to the importance of breast cancer prevention and show our solidarity with women who are facing this illness.
A pink ribbon, held together by many hands, accompanied our message of solidarity. Women and men, young and old, united in remembering just how important prevention, solidarity and support are for those facing this illness.
A simple gesture that also embodies the spirit of our Association: being there for one another, not just during times of celebration.
I was truly delighted to have shared this day with my friends from the IPA, amidst nature, smiles and moments of wonderful companionship.
A heartfelt thank you to the IPA Local Committee in Merano for organising the event and for giving a day of friendship such an important meaning.

Il 19 ottobre abbiamo incontrato l’Assessora della Provincia autonoma di Bolzano, Ulli Mair, per presentare la nostra Associazione, la IV Delegazione IPA Alto Adige – Südtirol e le iniziative che portiamo avanti sul territorio.
Con me erano presenti Wolfgang Kaserer, Vice Segretario della IV Delegazione, e Franz Winding, Presidente del Comitato Locale della Val Pusteria.
È stata un’occasione per raccontare ciò che ci unisce: l’amicizia tra appartenenti alle forze di polizia, lo scambio di esperienze e la volontà di mantenere vivi questi legami anche oltre il servizio, attraverso incontri, attività culturali e iniziative di solidarietà.
Abbiamo parlato anche dei giovani e della Missione Artica IPA Young, un progetto nel quale crediamo molto, che unisce formazione, spirito di squadra e attenzione all’ambiente.
Ringraziamo l’Assessora Mair per il tempo dedicato e per l’attenzione riservata alla nostra realtà associativa. Far conoscere l’IPA significa anche dare valore all’impegno di tanti soci che, con la loro partecipazione, rendono viva la nostra Associazione.

Am 19. Oktober trafen wir uns mit der Landesrätin der Autonomen Provinz Bozen, Ulli Mair, um unseren Verein, die IV. IPA-Delegation Südtirol, und die Initiativen, die wir vor Ort durchführen, vorzustellen.
Mit dabei waren Wolfgang Kaserer, stellvertretender Sekretär der IV. Delegation, und Franz Winding, Vorsitzender des Ortskomitees Pustertal.
Es war eine Gelegenheit, darüber zu sprechen, was uns verbindet: die Freundschaft unter Polizeibeamten, der Erfahrungsaustausch und der Wille, diese Bindungen auch über den Dienst hinaus durch Treffen, kulturelle Aktivitäten und Solidaritätsinitiativen aufrechtzuerhalten.
Wir sprachen auch über die Jugend und die IPA-Young-Arktis-Mission, ein Projekt, an das wir fest glauben und das Ausbildung, Teamgeist und Umweltbewusstsein vereint.
Wir danken der Stadträtin Mair für die uns gewidmete Zeit und für das Interesse, das sie unserem Verein entgegengebracht hat. Die IPA bekannt zu machen bedeutet auch, das Engagement vieler Mitglieder zu würdigen, die durch ihre Teilnahme unseren Verein mit Leben erfüllen.

On 19 October, we met with Ulli Mair, Councillor for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, to introduce our Association, the 4th IPA Delegation of Alto Adige – Südtirol, and the initiatives we are carrying out in the region.
I was accompanied by Wolfgang Kaserer, Deputy Secretary of the 4th Delegation, and Franz Winding, Chair of the Puster Valley Local Committee.
It was an opportunity to talk about what unites us: the friendship between members of the police force, the exchange of experiences and the desire to keep these bonds alive even beyond the line of duty, through meetings, cultural activities and solidarity initiatives.
We also discussed young people and the IPA Young Arctic Mission, a project in which we strongly believe, combining training, team spirit and care for the environment.
We would like to thank Councillor Mair for her time and for the attention she has given to our association. Raising awareness of the IPA also means recognising the commitment of our many members who, through their participation, bring our Association to life.

Care amiche e cari amici IPA,
con profondo dolore vi comunico che nel pomeriggio di oggi, 18 ottobre 2026, è venuto a mancare a Bolzano il nostro Presidente Emerito Ercole Petrungaro.
Per tantissimi anni Ercole ha guidato la nostra Delegazione, dedicando tempo, energie e passione alla famiglia IPA. Il suo impegno per gli altri proseguiva ogni giorno nella Croce Rossa, con quello spirito di servizio che ha accompagnato la sua vita.
Un uomo che ha dato tanto, lasciando un ricordo indelebile nelle persone che hanno avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo e di condividere con lui un tratto di strada.
A nome di tutta la IV Delegazione Alto Adige – Südtirol, mi stringo con affetto alla sua famiglia, esprimendo la nostra vicinanza e il nostro più sentito cordoglio.
Ciao Ercole, grazie di cuore per tutto ciò che ci hai donato.

Liebe IPA-Freundinnen und Freunde,
mit tiefer Trauer teile ich euch mit, dass unser Ehrenpräsident Ercole Petrungaro heute Nachmittag, am 18. Oktober 2026, in Bozen verstorben ist.
Viele Jahre lang hat Ercole unsere Delegation geleitet und der IPA-Familie Zeit, Energie und Leidenschaft gewidmet. Sein Engagement für andere setzte er jeden Tag beim Roten Kreuz fort, mit jenem Dienstgeist, der sein Leben geprägt hat.
Ein Mann, der so viel gegeben hat und bei den Menschen, die das Glück hatten, ihn kennenzulernen und ein Stück des Weges mit ihm zu gehen, eine unauslöschliche Erinnerung hinterlassen hat.
Im Namen der gesamten IV. Delegation Südtirol – Alto Adige möchte ich seiner Familie herzlich meine Anteilnahme aussprechen und ihr unsere Verbundenheit sowie unser tiefstes Beileid bekunden.

It is with deep sadness that I inform you that this afternoon, 18 October 2026, our President Emeritus, Ercole Petrungaro, passed away in Bolzano.
For many, many years, Ercole led our Delegation, devoting his time, energy and passion to the IPA family. His commitment to others continued every day through his work with the Red Cross, with that spirit of service that characterised his life.
He was a man who gave so much, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him and share a part of their journey with him.
On behalf of the entire IV South Tyrol Delegation, I send my warmest thoughts to his family, expressing our solidarity and our deepest condolences.
Farewell, Ercole; thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have given us.

Sabato 3 ottobre, presso la sala congressi della Cantina Sankt Pauls di San Paolo-Appiano s.s.d.v., si è svolto il Consiglio della IV Delegazione IPA Alto Adige – Südtirol, una giornata all’insegna dell’amicizia, della partecipazione e del confronto tra i rappresentanti dei nostri sette Comitati Locali.
Un risultato che ci rende particolarmente orgogliosi: la nostra Delegazione ha raggiunto quota 1.777 soci, con un incremento di 73 iscritti dall’inizio dell’anno!
Un risultato che testimonia la vitalità della nostra Associazione e premia l’impegno di tutti coloro che, con passione e spirito di volontariato, contribuiscono alla sua crescita.
Durante l’incontro sono stati affrontati temi importanti per il futuro della Delegazione, condividendo idee, progetti e nuove iniziative, con particolare attenzione alla collaborazione tra i Comitati Locali e al coinvolgimento delle nuove generazioni.
Un sincero ringraziamento a tutti i partecipanti, agli ospiti e a quanti hanno collaborato all’organizzazione e alla riuscita della giornata.
Sette Comitati Locali, un’unica grande famiglia IPA!

Samstag, 3. Oktober, fand im Kongresssaal der Kellerei Sankt Pauls in St. Pauls-Eppan s.s.d.v. die Sitzung des Rates der IV. IPA-Delegation Südtirol statt – ein Tag im Zeichen der Freundschaft, der Mitwirkung und des Austauschs zwischen den Vertretern unserer sieben Ortsverbände.
Ein Ergebnis, das uns besonders stolz macht: Unsere Delegation hat die Marke von 1.777 Mitgliedern erreicht, was einem Zuwachs von 73 Mitgliedern seit Jahresbeginn entspricht!
Ein Ergebnis, das die Lebendigkeit unseres Vereins belegt und das Engagement all jener würdigt, die mit Leidenschaft und ehrenamtlichem Einsatz zu seinem Wachstum beitragen.
Während des Treffens wurden wichtige Themen für die Zukunft der Delegation erörtert, wobei Ideen, Projekte und neue Initiativen ausgetauscht wurden, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Ortsverbänden und die Einbindung der jüngeren Generationen.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Teilnehmer, Gäste und alle, die an der Organisation und dem Erfolg dieses Tages mitgewirkt haben.

Saturday, 3 October, in the conference hall of the Sankt Pauls Winery in San Paolo-Appiano s.s.d.v., the meeting of the Council of the 4th IPA Delegation for Alto Adige – Südtirol was held – a day marked by friendship, participation and discussion amongst the representatives of our seven Local Committees.
This is an achievement of which we are particularly proud: our Delegation has reached 1,777 members, an increase of 73 since the start of the year!
This result testifies to the vitality of our Association and recognises the commitment of all those who, with passion and a spirit of voluntary service, contribute to its growth.
During the meeting, important issues for the Delegation’s future were discussed, with ideas, projects and new initiatives being shared, focusing in particular on collaboration between the Local Committees and the involvement of the younger generations.
A sincere thank you to all the participants, guests and everyone who helped organise the event and ensure its success.

The IPA Facility is a 6th floor apartment situated in Thessaloniki, some 250 metres from the Central Police Building and is in operation since 14 June 1997.

Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece and the capital of Greek Macedonia, the administrative region of Central Macedonia and the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. It is nicknamed as “the co-capital” – a reference to its historical status as the “co-reigning” city of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, alongside Constantinople.

Accommodation:

The ultra-modern and unique facility has 2 (two) comfortable double rooms and 1 (one) family room with possibility of 4 beds. It has a spacious bathroom and balcony. All with air conditioning, TV, blankets, sheets, pillows, towels etc. There is also a kitchen which has refrigerator and all necessary utensils and cutlery. FREE Wi Fi.

The Facility is close to center of the city, near public transportation, suitable for the guest to visit all sightseeing of the city – The White tower, Royal Theatre, the International Exhibition, archaeological sites and Byzantine monuments, the
museums and the city harbour.

The 2nd IPA World Football Tournament, Cambrils, Spain

From 7–11 April 2027, IPA members from around the world will come together for an exciting week of football, friendship and international connections.

The tournament features Men’s Open and Women’s Open categories, bringing IPA members together.
