Nature has always given us more than we can ever repay. The least we can do is protect and restore what sustains us.

Over the years, through the collective efforts of thousands of people, we have restored 197 water bodies and conserved 39 billion litres of water. But for us, these numbers are not the destination. Every revived lake means a farmer with hope, a village with water, and a better future for the next generation.

On this World Conservation Day, let us remember that conservation is not a one-day responsibility. It is a commitment we must live every day.

The work continues.

CIBJO Lake, a water conservation initiative by Dholakia Foundation, was highlighted by Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri at the United Nations ECOSOC High-Level Segment.

Inaugurated on World Water Day 2026, this 156 million litre reservoir is strengthening water security across five villages and supporting nearly 12,000 farmers in Saurashtra.

A moment of recognition, and a reminder that real impact begins on the ground.

Mission River began with a decision.
A decision to change what once felt stuck.

A dry river, waiting land,
and people who chose to stay.

Step by step, the work moved forward.

Not for recognition,
but for the life it brought back.

Because in every such effort,
there is a Bhagirath.

Gagadiya River flowing in full glory 🌊

Hoping the rains return like this every year,
the river keeps flowing like it is today,
and the people around it truly benefit from it.

Under Mission River, the Dholakia Foundation has begun the restoration work of the Jhamkudi River.

The work is still in progress, but change is already visible.
What was once dry is beginning to hold water, slowly finding its flow again.

A small shift today, towards a living river tomorrow.

Mehnat rang laayi.
