we wouldn’t notice at first.

Just a little less water.
A little more silence.
A little more waiting.

But over time,
the land would crack,
the rivers would fade,
and life would slowly step back.

Jhamkudi. Saraswati. Gagadiya.
Different places. One purpose.

To bring water back
where it was almost forgotten.
