Nirman has organized a “Felicitation and Career Guidance Program” in collaboration with CRY (Child Rights and You) at an educational institute in Vishrantwadi, Pune, under the education thematic area focusing on supporting children and youth through educational encouragement and career guidance.
The event brought together 32 SSC and HSC passed students along with their parents, aiming to encourage higher education through student felicitation, motivational guidance, and career counselling. The program also highlighted the importance of parental participation and community support in children’s educational journeys.
The program was attended by respected professionals and community leaders from diverse fields, whose encouragement and guidance inspired the students to dream bigger and pursue their goals with confidence.

On 28th April 2026, Nirman in collaboration with DLSA Satara, convened a powerful dialogue on education, safeguarding, and citizenship access of children from the communities.
Bringing together key government departments and grassroots representatives, the discussion highlighted both systemic gaps and actionable pathways which was grounded in real community voices from across Satara District of Maharashtra.
Conversations around access to education, identity documentation, and child-focused and developmental schemes like Mission Vatsalya and NLSA initiatives marked an important move towards stronger, more inclusive systems.
Change begins when institutions and communities come together—and this was a step in that direction.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Nirman, Pune organized an event on 5 March 2026 at Indapur in Pune district, Maharashtra, bringing together 255 women from Nomadic and Denotified communities. The event combined awareness with expression, beginning with the lighting of the lamp, a tribute to Savitribai Phule, and a collective reading of the Constitution’s Preamble.

It featured a street play on dowry violence by the Balika Panchayat group, a dance performance reflecting lived experiences of a women, an open discussion forum where women and girls shared their challenges, and the highlight of the event was the one-woman theatrical performance “Mi Savitri Boltey” by Prof. Sangharsha Usha Kamble.

The event created a strong platform for amplifying voices, fostering awareness, and reinforcing collective commitment to gender equality and social justice, and concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, guests, and team members from Nirman.
