The Borderless World Foundation (bwf) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit, registered organization based in Pune, Maharashtra. Established in March 2002, bwf aims to provide a 'Humane Touch' to the border areas of India and beyond. The bwf family is an open circle of people with a 'change-begins-with-me' approach to this cause. The thought behind bwf originated in 1998 when the founders (Bharti

Mamani & Adik Kadam) started work at the grassroots level in the conflict-ridden frontier district of Kupwara in Kashmir. Their first hand experience of the human tragedy made them aware of the fact that the people of a nation often do not realise that their border areas function as the 'shock absorbers' of the country, and that life for the people in these areas is far from normal – it's full of uncertainty. Loss of lives, violence, fear and chaos are the order of the day. Socio-economic stagnancy, corruption and civil administrative breakdown affect all walks of life. Scores of thousands of children have been orphaned due to violence; close to a million of them have dropped out of their childhood.

At, FAH. BWF Jammu had the privilege of hosting a group of around students, Army personnel, and officers' families from Damana Military Station.
The visitors interacted warmly with the children, toured the facility, and learned about the Foundation's mission and activities. Refreshments were served, lunch was provided by the Army team, and gifts were presented to the children.
The visit fostered meaningful connections and strengthened the partnership between the Army and Borderless World Foundation, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.

we have supported more than 1000 marriages, but every daughter’s journey carries its own emotions, memories, and pride.
Today, I am sharing a glimpse of one more beautiful bride from our family. She came to us as a little girl studying in 5th standard. From those innocent childhood days to completing her master’s degree, working in a reputed hospital, and now stepping into a new phase of life ,we have witnessed every stage of her growth.

For an organization, the biggest achievement is not buildings or numbers it is seeing a child grow into an educated, independent, and respected woman ready to build her own family and future. Moments like these make every struggle meaningful.
Dear Star Bride to be Doctor Rifat, may your new journey be filled with love, peace, respect, happiness, and endless blessings. Wherever life takes you, remember that the BWF family will always be proud of you.

Mother’s Day in our homes was celebrated in a unique and heartfelt way. Some children cooked special dishes with love, while others made their wardens feel truly special through small gestures and surprises. Many staff members also remembered how the founder initiated this journey with deep concern and care for every child. The day was filled with emotions, gratitude, love, and beautiful memories. Everything went wonderfully well, making it a truly meaningful celebration for all.

We are proud to share the journey of Gazala Jan and Iqra Jan
Gazala Jan from our BWF Beerwah Home and Iqra Jan from our Anantnag Home have successfully completed their 12th with good results.
With a strong dream of becoming lawyers, they have now taken their next step forward. They will be appearing for the Maharashtra CET exam, after which they plan to apply for their law course.
What makes their journey even more special is that both of them have been part of our homes since a very young age, around 6 years old. From childhood to this important milestone, their growth has been truly inspiring.
We feel proud to see their dedication, courage, and determination to build a bright future for themselves.
Wishing both of them all the very best for their exams and future journey. May they achieve all their dreams and make us proud!
