On this special occasion of our 14th Foundation Day, we pause to reflect with deep gratitude on a journey that began on 18th April 2012—born from the vision, courage, and compassion of a cancer victor, Mrs. Ruby Ahluwalia.

What started as a humble initiative, nurtured with faith, empathy, compassion and determination, has today blossomed into a national movement.

Over the past fourteen years, with the grace of the Almighty and the unwavering support of each one of you, Sanjeevani: Life Beyond Cancer has touched the lives of over 15,23,000 patients and their family members.

This milestone belongs to all of you—our donors, supporters, team members, faculty, interns, and most importantly, our patients, who inspire us every single day. Your trust, commitment, and belief in our mission have been the driving force behind every step forward.

We would also like to offer a special tribute to four remarkable individuals who stood like pillars in our formative years—

The Round Table Conference on “Future Pathways in Integrative Cancer Care,” held on 7th February in Jaipur, brought together a diverse group of voices united by a shared commitment to strengthening cancer care in India.

Throughout the day, there was a clear emphasis on looking beyond treatment alone and understanding care as something that must respond to the full reality of a patient’s journey. The perspectives shared across clinical, psychosocial, nutritional, and rehabilitative areas added both depth and direction to this ongoing effort.

We sincerely thank our panelists, moderators, and participants for the clarity, care, and insight they brought into the room. Their contributions shaped a space that was reflective, focused, and forward-looking.

As the second convening in this series, following Ahmedabad, Jaipur played an important role in carrying this work ahead and strengthening a more connected approach to integrative cancer care.

Looking back at the 4th Round Table Conference on “Future Pathways in Integrative Cancer Care” in Chandigarh, we are reminded of the value of bringing diverse voices together.

The conversations throughout the day reflected a collective intent to strengthen how cancer care is understood and delivered, moving toward approaches that are evidence-aligned and patient-centered. The exchange of perspectives across clinical, psychosocial, nutritional, and rehabilitative domains added meaningful depth to the discussions and the direction ahead.
