🍯 Breakfasts Across India. One Spoon of Honey.

This week, we're in Punjab, celebrating the rustic goodness of Missi Roti—a wholesome flatbread made with whole wheat, gram flour, fresh herbs and everyday spices.

Traditionally enjoyed with curd or white butter, we've added a simple twist with a drizzle of Himalayan Flora Honey. The floral sweetness beautifully complements the earthy flavours of the roti, creating a breakfast that's both comforting and delicious.

Because every traditional breakfast has room for one spoon of honey.

Not all honey tells the same story. 🍯
While one bottle simply reaches your shelf, the other carries the journey of beekeepers, biodiversity, traceability, and organic certification. Every spoonful is a choice—not just for your table, but for the people and ecosystems behind it.

Choose honey that supports nature, farmers, and a more sustainable future.

Get Repost App • Science Sphere 🍯 Honey may be more than a natural sweetener — it can also act as workout fuel.

Honey is mostly carbohydrate, with a mix of glucose and fructose. That matters because working muscles rely heavily on carbohydrates during harder or longer exercise.

Sports drinks and gels often use multiple carbohydrate sources for the same reason: they help deliver energy efficiently and support glycogen recovery after training.

Some studies suggest honey can perform similarly to commercial carbohydrate gels or drinks for exercise fueling. It may also help restore energy between repeated bouts of activity because glucose and fructose are absorbed through different pathways.

This does not mean honey is a magic performance booster. The evidence is limited, study designs vary, and total diet still matters.

But for people who tolerate it well, honey can be a simple, food-based carbohydrate option before, during, or after exercise.
