Liver Care Foundation based in Mumbai is a voluntary Non Governmental Organization registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 ,founded on 6th April 2016 by group of doctors and social enthusiasts. Liver is slow to complain , often people with liver problem will be completely unaware as they may have few or no symptoms. Liver being a forgiving organ, it will continue to work even if sig

nificantly damaged by scarring ( Fibrosis ). Liver disease is a therefore A SILENT KILLER, you don’t know you have it , until it is too late . Being an invisible organ, it is easily ignored, unlike eyes, ears, teeth, joints etc, where symptoms are visible. Viral Hepatitis B , C , Alcohol related liver disease and Non Alcohol fatty liver disease being the commonest causes of Silent Liver disease , the burden continues to rise resulting in serious and life threatening complications like Cirrhosis and Liver cancer.
