Project VENDA Project VENDA© is a project of the Fourth Wave Foundation which works dedicatedly to contain subs

We empower children and young adults to say NO to drugs and stay away from dangers like alcohol, social network misuse, po*******hy, sexual abuse and technology addiction, by helping them channel their energies into creative pursuits through creating awareness on substance abuse, counselling and facilitating rehabilitation. We equip parents, teachers, child care professionals, heads of institution

s and other stakeholders to create a S.A.F.E. (Substance Abuse Free Environment) for children and empower them to live purposefully. The model created and implemented by Project VENDA, which has already touched the lives of over 1,00,000 children, has been recognised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) as one of the best practices with respect to working with children and young adults. Project VENDA was presented at the United Nations Congressional on Narcotics and Drugs in Vienna on September 2018, 2019 and 2020.

At Fourth Wave Foundation, we focus on science-based awareness, community responsibility, and informed action to help our children and youth live healthier lives. On World Social Work Day (observed annually on the third Tuesday of March – 17th March 2026), Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) and Fourth Wave Foundation signed an MoU to collaborate with 20 colleges and initiated the S.A.F.E.TY – Substance Abuse Free Environment Team Youth Program at Rajagiri Viswajyothi College of Arts and Science, Vengoor.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Justice (Retd.) Kurian Joseph and Mrs. Lida Jacob IAS (Retd), State Advisory Board Member, KAPS and Former Secretary, General Education Department, Government of Kerala. The keynote address was delivered by C C Joseph, Director, Fourth Wave Foundation, on sustainable social impact, along with a capacity building program for teachers to engage with students in prevention.
