Aarohan

Aarohan AAROHAN is a non-profit organisation which means a Climb, working for Early Childhood to Livelihood We are focused on the overall development of the students.

We work with children who have either never attended school or have dropped out.Their parents are daily laborers so the children are often left behind, and are found wandering the streets. They live in the slums and come from India's lowest economic strata. We prepare these children to gain admission into government schools, and provide after-school academic support to help them sustain and complete their schooling successfully. Apart from providing them with food, clothing, stationary, etc., we also encourage them to pursue arts, dance, music, and photography at our center. We also provide vocational training in computer science and spoken english so they can earn a respectable living. Volunteers are Aarohan's backbone. We are always looking for people to help. Please email [email protected] if you are interested. For more information please visit our website: www.aarohanngo.org
