✨ A Look back at the launch of the Roscommon Volunteer Achievement Award ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch of the Roscommon Volunteer Achievement Award on 22nd May in Gleesons Roscommon.

Special thanks to Dr. Martin Daly for officially launching the booklet, guest speaker Síofra Hession for sharing her inspiring experiences of the positive impact volunteers have had on her sporting journey, and Mary Finnerty for her wonderful performance on the day.

Thank you also to all the volunteers and community organisations who attended. We appreciate your support and look forward to celebrating the many volunteer hours that will be recorded and recognised over the coming months.

🎉 Introducing the Roscommon Volunteer Achievement Award! 🎉

We’re proud to launch this new initiative celebrating the dedication, generosity, and community spirit of volunteers across County Roscommon.

The award aims to recognise the valuable hours volunteers contribute to their communities while also encouraging more people to get involved. Whether you’re already volunteering or thinking about getting started, every hour makes a difference, and every contribution deserves to be recognised.

As part of the award, volunteers can take part in the 26 for 26 Campaign and work towards completing 26 hours of volunteering in 2026. For those inspired to continue, there are also milestones of 50 and 100 volunteer hours to achieve within a 12-month period.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement for each milestone reached and will be recognised at a special celebration event.

Hours can be recorded online through the link in our bio. Hard-copy achievement booklets are also available from our office, including a Ukrainian-language version.

Ready to get involved or learn more? Register online via the link in our bio or contact us to request a booklet.
