✨ A Very Special Visit to Our Community Centre ✨

On 29 May 2026, we were honoured to welcome President Catherine Connolly to our community centre for a wonderful afternoon of conversation, connection, and celebration.

The President met with members of our community groups including The Golden Girls, Singing for Well-being, We Grow Group, Ukrainian & New Communities Support Group, Men's Group, Mens' Shed, Youth Club, Pins & Needles, Women's Group, and the Newbridge Disability Access Group. Each group shared their experiences and showcased the incredible contribution they make to building a stronger, more inclusive community.

From music and creativity to friendship, well-being, learning, advocacy, and support, the visit highlighted the positive impact that community groups have in bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging for all.

A sincere thank you to President Connolly for taking the time to meet our members, listen to their stories, and recognise the importance of community-led initiatives. It was a memorable day that will be treasured by everyone who attended.

Some of our wonerful parents who completed Cothú Training in Newbridge FRC.

This 5-week course is specifically designed for parents of Autistic children and was facilitated by the amazing Annmarie, a licensed Cothú Trainer, trained by AUsome Training and Autistically Scott
Annmarie brings both passion and personal experience to her work.

Cothú was developed by Autistic parents. It offers a fresh, respectful understanding of Autism from an Autistic perspective, helping parents better understand how their children experience the world.
