๐ Volunteer Week ๐
Volunteer Week is a great reminder that everybody has something valuable they can share with others.
๐A very special thank you to the Monaghan Volunteer Centre for continuous support, guidance, and encouragement. This work helps volunteers feel supported, connected, and valued while creating opportunities for meaningful community involvement.
At the Migrant Support Centre, we are proud to support volunteering in many different forms and create opportunities for people with different skills, experiences, and backgrounds to contribute to the local community ๐
This week, we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all volunteers involved in the activities supported by SICAP ๐

Around 30 volunteers across four towns in County Monaghan are helping people improve one of the most important skills โ language and communication ๐ฌ
๐ ๏ธ Monaghan Connect for Men volunteers
for their hard work and support with practical projects, including the current greenhouse project
in St. Macartanโs College.
๐ฉ Womenโs Group volunteers
for helping organise the Donation Day and Womenโs Information Event
๐จ Little Cosmos volunteers
for supporting childrenโs camps and activities
๐งต Sewing Group volunteers
for sharing sewing and upcycling skills with new members and helping people learn valuable practical skills
We are especially happy to see so many members of migrant communities willing to contribute, share their knowledge, and become an active part of the society๐ค
Many people believe in giving back to the community, and we are proud to support these initiatives ๐ฑ
