Buggie Buddies is Back!

Looking for a friendly way to get out, meet other parents and enjoy some fresh air? Come along to Buggie Buddies!

Join us for a gentle walk, followed by a cuppa in your local library, with guest speakers sharing helpful information and support along the way.

Following our Buggie Buddies walk on Monday 10th August, our Music & Movement programme with Sound in Motion-Clones Music School will begin. These fun, interactive sessions will run for 4 weeks and are suitable for babies and young children, with younger siblings also very welcome.

We are also back in Castleblayney starting

Enjoy a gentle walk, make new connections, stay for a cuppa, and hear from our guest speakers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

🎉👏 Congratulations to Our Safe Pass & Manual Handling Course Participants! 👏🎉

Monaghan Migrant Support Centre ( 🇪🇺🇮🇪 )is proud to support migrants in gaining essential skills that improve their employment opportunities and help them build a successful future in Ireland.

This week, participants successfully completed Safe Pass and Manual Handling training, receiving certificates that are recognised and valued by employers across Ireland.

🦺 Safe Pass is a mandatory health and safety awareness programme for anyone wishing to work in the **construction sector** in Ireland. It provides workers with the knowledge they need to work safely and helps create safer workplaces for everyone.

📦 Manual Handling training is an important qualification for many jobs across different sectors. The course teaches participants the correct techniques for lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving loads safely, helping to reduce the risk of injury in the workplace.

These qualifications are an important step towards employment, giving participants practical knowledge, greater confidence, and improved access to job opportunities.

👏 Congratulations to everyone who completed the training! We wish you every success as you take the next step in your employment journey.

🪵✨ **Wood Art Workshop Session 5** ✨🪵

This week, with the support of Monaghan Migrant Support Centre ( 🇪🇺🇮🇪), participants took part in their fifth Wood Art Workshop, continuing their journey of learning, creativity, and skills development.

Each session provides an opportunity to build practical woodworking skills while encouraging creativity, confidence, and personal growth. It has been inspiring to watch participants grow in both ability and confidence as they continue to develop their talents and create unique handcrafted pieces.

At Monaghan Migrant Support Centre, we are proud to support activities that promote learning, inclusion, wellbeing, and community participation. These workshops provide a welcoming space where people can connect with others, gain valuable new skills, and express their creativity.

We are delighted to continue our inspiring series of art workshops led by Maryna Shkarupa.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today. Each session is more than just an opportunity to learn new painting techniques—it is a chance to create, connect, and share inspiration in a warm and welcoming environment.

Under Maryna guidance, we continue to develop our artistic skills, explore new creative approaches, and enjoy the process of making art together. Every workshop brings new discoveries, meaningful conversations, and the joy of creative expression.

We are truly grateful to our wonderful group. Thank you to everyone who takes part and helps create such a friendly, supportive, and inspiring atmosphere.

🎨✨ A wonderful start to our Art Workshop series! (SICAP 🇪🇺🇮🇪)

A huge thank you to our talented volunteer, Maryna Shkarupa, a professional artist, for delivering such an inspiring first art class. 🖌️💙

We're also very grateful to the Monaghan Volunteer Centre, whose support helps us connect with skilled and passionate volunteers like Marina.

It was fantastic to see participants sharing their creativity and enjoying the experience together. 😊

This was just the beginning – we have two more classes planned, where the group will continue exploring painting techniques and developing their artistic skills.
