MOVEMENT, CONNECTION & MAKING INFORMED CHOICES! 🕺💃

JivinGym recently teamed up with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to deliver workshops across four schools, combining movement, connection and important conversations about the dangers of va**ng. 💚

Through these engaging sessions, students had the opportunity to get involved, connect with their peers and learn more about the potential harm va**ng can cause.

By bringing these conversations into schools in an interactive and accessible way, we can help young people make informed choices about their health and wellbeing. 💚

RESILIENCE RANGERS AT ST. LOUIS GIRLS’ SCHOOL, MONAGHAN! 🌈💛

A lovely start to our Resilience Rangers workshops, as Ciara McPhillips visited St. Louis Girls’ School to work with two 6th class groups alongside Minding Me.

Through storytelling, breathing exercises and creating their own breathing windmills, the girls explored their emotions and discovered simple ways to manage big feelings and find calm. 🌬️✨

These practical skills help young people better understand their emotions, build resilience and support their mental wellbeing, both in and out of the classroom.

A huge thank you to Ciara and everyone at St. Louis Girls’ School for getting involved!

When we talk about our Reasons to Live, they don’t have to be big or profound.

Maybe it’s your children. Your dog. Your best friend.

Maybe it’s your favourite song, a cup of tea, a Sunday morning lie-in or the first sip of coffee. ☕️

Maybe it’s your favourite place, a good laugh, watching the football, getting out for a walk, cooking, your garden, your job, your hobbies - or simply having something to look forward to.

There are no right or wrong answers.

160 STUDENTS. BUZZING ON A MONDAY MORNING! 🕺💃💚

What a brilliant start to the week at Our Lady’s Secondary School, Castleblayney, where 160 students took part in a JivinGym workshop.

James gets the students to point to themselves and say: “I am Jivetastic!” 🙌

And one student left us with a brilliant comment, saying that the work LA519 and JivinGym are doing is “Jivetastic.” 💚

That really struck a chord.

Because when everyone comes together, schools, students, teachers, facilitators, communities and organisations - we’re all doing our bit to support and build a healthier, happier and more resilient future generation.

160 students. One Monday morning. One Jivetastic message. 💚

A WONDERFUL MORNING OF CONNECTION & WELLBEING 💚

On Friday, we were delighted to be part of a wonderful event hosted by Parenting Monaghan at Monaghan Library. 🌟

Mairead from LA519 joined the event alongside Wellness From Within, sharing information about the different workshops and wellbeing supports available within our communities.

It was a great opportunity to meet people, chat about mental health and wellbeing, and highlight the work being done to support individuals and families across the community.

A huge thank you to Parenting Monaghan for hosting such a brilliant event and for creating a space where people could come together, connect and learn about the supports available. 💚
