The Royal Irish Academy Legacy Grant now open for applications.
Galway County Council The Heritage Council Galway County Public Participation Network Galway Public Libraries University of Galway ATU Galway City

Applications are now open for the Archaeology Legacy Grant.

The grant provides funding for post-excavation work on RIA-funded excavations that took place over five years ago, including:
• Post-excavation assessment
• Conservation and preparation of finds
• Publishing and sharing the project
• Archiving

Funding of up to €30,000 is available per project.
The 2027 round is provided by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, through the National Monuments Service - Archaeology.
