Blood Bikes Northwest - Ireland

Blood Bikes Northwest - Ireland Volunteer Bike Service providing a free out of hours service to the HSE in the North West. All our riders will be RoSPA trained and Garda Vetted.

We hope to form volunteer group based in Donegal, covering the northwest of Ireland. Our aim is to provide an out of hours FREE service to the HSE in the west. We will transport Urgently needed Blood, Blood Products, Drugs, Human Tissue, Breast Milk and any other medical requirments that can be safely carried via Motorbike, between hospitals, clinics and blood transfusion banks. Operation hours ar

e 7pm to 7am Monday t
o Thursday and from 7pm on Friday to 7am on Monday. Currently this service is carried out by use of hiring taxis at a huge expense, in an already underfunded area. By providing our free service we hope to relieve some of the pressure on the HSE so that those funds can be put to a better use. Registered Charity number CHY 20942
