Play Matters Toy Library has a wide selection of toys available for loan, these include; Educational toys, Sensory toys, Musical toys, Puzzles and Board games (some in gaelic), toys for fine and gross motor skills.

Play Matters Toddlers Group are looking for volunteers to help with the set up, facilitate play and craft activities and to help pack away at the end of the sessions. We can support work experience needs or also serve as an opportunity for those who are considering a career in pre school / after school programmes and child education or care.
During the summer months we are at Teach Biddy on the River Walk, Dungloe. The outdoor sessions are Wednesday mornings 10:30am-12:30pm.
During the winter months we are indoors at the Rosses CDP, Dungloe, the indoor sessions are on Wednesday mornings 10:30am-12pm. We will be flexible with your needs and time scales and will work around your availability.
If anyone is interested in being part of our charity organisation, Please get in touch and we can discuss further You can contact us by email: [email protected], by pm here or come down to speak with us at the River Walk on Wednesday mornings. We look forward to hearing from you.
All volunteers will be Garda vetted and we support further education needs and encourage the use of gaeilge if possible (not essential) or other primary or secondary languages that support our mission that all children have the right to be included and supported to play freely in our Community. Join us this Wednesday 17th June 2026 for our outdoor playtime sessions for the little ones. Outdoor play can be a little messy, with water and sand play areas, so dress for mess and the weather!! We have outdoor cover if the weather is not so good, there is also space inside the hut for play.
Play times are from 10:30am - 12:30pm, we will provide snacks for the children and refreshments for the adults (please remember a travel cup for a tea or coffee)!
Cost is €3 per child and €5 per family. Everyone welcome. 😊
