What does youth work look like? πŸ’™

Sometimes it looks like trying something new.

Sometimes it’s a conversation.
A shared laugh.
A new friendship.
Or simply having a space where you feel welcome.

That’s what youth work is about β€” creating opportunities for young people to connect, grow, be heard and feel supported.

Here’s a little look at some of the moments that make youth work special at DYS. πŸ’™

A new school year means new routines, new faces and plenty of new experiences.

Whether you're starting secondary school, moving into a new year, starting college or simply getting back into a routine β€” it's completely normal to have a mix of feelings.

You don't need to have everything figured out straight away.

Take it one day at a time, look out for your friends, ask questions and give yourself time to settle in.

Here's to a new year of learning, new experiences and new opportunities! 🌱

From everyone at Donegal Youth Service β€” **best of luck for the year ahead!πŸ’™

Youth Work For All means ensuring meaningful youth participation and engagement in decision-making processes.
This , we're spotlighting our AI Use Survey, which gives young people the opportunity to share their views on the role of AI in youth work and beyond.
We want to hear directly from young people to help shape a policy that reflects their experiences, concerns, and aspirations. Your voice matters, and your input will help ensure that young people's perspectives are at the heart of our approach to AI.
Have your say and help shape the future of AI in youth work.
