💖✨ WEXFORD GIRLS GET TOGETHER! ✨💖
The Wexford Girls Get Together event yesterday was a collaboration between Wexford Children and Young People's Services Committee (CYPSC), Sports Active Wexford and GYNG, bringing people together to create positive opportunities for girls across Wexford. 💗
The event also aligned with the Her Moves initiative, which has a clear focus on encouraging and supporting teenage girls to stay engaged in sport and physical activity of any kind. 🏃♀️⚽🏀💃 The aim is to help girls find activities they enjoy, build confidence, develop friendships and experience the many benefits of being active in a fun and supportive environment. 💪💖
The girls from Gorey Youth Needs had a fantastic time at the Glow in the Dark Dance Party which was a huge hit, with inclusive dance workshops, team-building games and lots of fun activities creating an amazing afternoon full of laughter, energy and plenty of sparkle! 🌟🪩🎶
💕 Events like this mean so much to the girls from Gorey Youth Needs. They provide valuable opportunities to meet other girls, make new friends, feel included, express themselves, build confidence and create lasting memories. Having spaces where girls feel supported, valued and free to be themselves is so important, and we were delighted that the girls had the opportunity to be part of such a positive experience.
