Our Quilting Group have finished the quilt, and here it is! 🧵🪡
A special stamp has been added to the quilt to celebrate the group's hard work, dedication, and determination in helping to raise funds in aid of Eimear Byrne.
🎟️ The raffle will take place on Monday, 29th June at 11:00am, so there's still time to get your raffle tickets. Simply call in to reception to purchase yours.

We were delighted to attend Julia's Borshch and Sisterhood event with Wexford Local Development, alongside some of our Men's Club and Riverchapel participants, for a wonderful evening of connection, culture, and community.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to come together, share stories and experiences, and learn more about different traditions and customs in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of the evening was, of course, enjoying a delicious bowl of traditional Ukrainian borshch! 🍲

Drawing on her Ukrainian heritage, Julia also gave a hands-on demonstration of how this much-loved dish is prepared, offering everyone the chance to learn about its cultural significance while making the experience both engaging and educational.

A huge thank you to Julia and Wexford Local Development for hosting such a fantastic event and for making everyone feel so welcome. We always value opportunities to support and collaborate with fellow community organisations, and this evening was a wonderful celebration of friendship, cultural exchange, and community spirit in action. 💙

Our Sewing & Quilting Class is now underway at Riverchapel Community Complex! 🧵✨

As always, everyone is creating amazing projects, making new friends, learning valuable skills, and, most importantly, having a great time. It's wonderful to see so much creativity, enthusiasm, and community spirit in every session. We can't wait to see what everyone makes next! ❤️

Week 1 of our 4-week Beginners Willow course kicked off yesterday! 🌿 It's great to see everyone hard at work, learning new skills, and enjoying the experience. Looking forward to the next few weeks and seeing everyone's creations take shape. Thanks to Sindy !!!!

Gorey Child and Family Support Network are hosting an event this Friday the 19th of June in Gorey Library. This event is to inform everyone of services and supports that remain open for business throughout the summer.🌞
There will be lots of organisations and agencies on hand on the day to share information and offer guidance and support. Information Stands will be available from 10:30-1pm. Pop along to find out more. 👋
