🇸🇴 Somali Independence & Information Sharing Day – Galway, Ireland 🇮🇪
What a wonderful evening it was!
The Somali Community Galway was delighted to host our Somali Independence & Information Sharing Day at the Maldron Hotel, bringing together members of our community, local partners, and friends to celebrate our nation’s independence while sharing valuable information that strengthens and empowers our community.
The event reflected the values that unite us—community, culture, inclusion, and collaboration. It provided an opportunity to honour Somalia’s history, celebrate our rich heritage, and encourage meaningful conversations that support the wellbeing and future of our community in Galway.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, our volunteers, guest speakers, and all those who helped organise this successful event. Your time, commitment, and support made the day truly memorable.
A special thank you to Galway City Partnership for your continued partnership and dedication to supporting migrant communities in Galway. We deeply appreciate your ongoing encouragement and collaboration.
Together, we will continue building a stronger, more connected, and informed Somali community while contributing positively to the wider Galway community.
Thank you for celebrating with us. We look forward to seeing you at our future events!
Long Live Somalia. Happy Independence! 🇸🇴🇮🇪
