Inchicore for All and Kilmainham Inchicore Heritage Group come together during the Culture Date with Dublin 8 festival this year for a talk on the heritage of our local area.
"The Story of Inchicore/Kilmainham in Seven Landmarks" will look at seven structures that we see around us and use their stories to summarise the 1,000-year history of how the area developed. This talk will be a 'beginners' guide' to the story of Inchicore-Kilmainham and will be of particular interest to adults and young people new to the area who would like an introduction to its heritage.
Venue: Inchicore Library at Richmond Barracks
Date: Saturday 9 May 2026 at 2.30pm
Speaker: Francis Thackaberry
Admission: Free, but reserve your place by email to [email protected]

💐 Spring Feast 2026 – what a day! 💐

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Feast – one of our biggest and best yet. It was so special to see so many new faces alongside familiar ones, sharing food, laughter and time together.

The food was a real highlight 🌟 – Souhila’s sweet treats and Siham’s Palestinian rice were big favourites, but honestly everything was delicious and enjoyed by all. We all went home with full bellies and full hearts ❤️

The entertainment was brilliant too – massive thanks to The Holograms, The Last Train Band, The Eagle family, Sweet Cheeks Facepainting, James Lennon's quiz and Maggie Biggs for keeping the kids smiling all day.

As always, huge thanks to Sylvia and Christine for their incredible work pulling the day together, and to all the amazing volunteers who helped on the day – we couldn’t do it without you.

We were delighted with our new venue at Inchicore College and are so grateful to the college for welcoming us into such a bright, open and engaging space.

Seeing people mixing, chatting, kids playing together and neighbours getting to know each other is exactly what Inchicore for All is about.

Our community runs on volunteers — and we’re so excited for what’s ahead!

Following our AGM, we’re planning a year filled with days out, summer camps, language exchange, wellbeing events, youth outreach, our buddy system and more. With integration funding secured, we have a real opportunity to make 2026 our most impactful year yet — but we can’t do it without you.

Whether you have lots of time or just a little, specific skills or simply enthusiasm, there’s a place for you here.

It takes less than 5 minutes to fill out the form (https://forms.gle/fkivtQkSucdNw4m67). This is just an expression of interest — no pressure, no commitment.

Let’s keep building a welcoming, inclusive Inchicore for everyone!

Hi everyone 🎄✨

As you start taking out your Christmas jumpers and pyjamas this week, please remember our Inchicore for All Christmas Jumper Swap!

We’ll be at the St Patrick's Athletic FC Christmas Market in Richmond Park on Saturday 13th December, 3–6pm.

Bring your much-loved but outgrown Christmas jumpers and swap them for something “new to you”! 🎅🧣

If you don’t have anything to swap, that’s totally fine — you can still take a jumper and give a small donation instead. Free for IPAS residents. 💚

If you can’t make it but want to donate clothes, send us a message and we’ll arrange collection. Please share this message with your friends and neighbours.

Happy festive season! 🎁✨

🎃 Sustainable Sunday Magic! 🌱👻

What a fantastic day in Bera Hall! Inchicore for All and Inchicore Environmental Group teamed up for a Halloween Costume Swap and Spring Bulb Giveaway, and the community spirit was amazing. 🧙‍♀️🪴

Hundreds of people came through the doors — swapping costumes, saving money, reducing waste, bobbing for apples, making puppet shows and going home with bulbs that will bloom beautifully in spring. 🌷💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, and especially to our brilliant volunteers and supporters who gave their time and energy to make it happen. 🙌🎃

Days like this show how strong, creative, and caring our community really is. We can’t wait for the next one! 💪✨

We’re so proud to be featured in today’s The Irish Times celebrating the amazing work this community does to bring people together.

We’re especially delighted to be included alongside other inspiring women who are helping to make Ireland a more welcoming and inclusive place 💚

It can feel daunting to put ourselves out there, but it matters — because there are so many more of us who care about kindness, inclusion and each other than those who spread hate and division. ✨

Welcome murals can become greeting cards, saying: ‘You are seen, you belong, you matter’

Delighted to be teaming up with our friends in Inchicore Environmental Group for this fantastic free event!

What a day! 🌳💚

Yesterday Inchicore for All brought over 120 people to Beyond the Trees at Avondale, Co. Wicklow — and it was pure joy from start to finish! We climbed the tree top walk, zipped down the slide, wandered through the forest, and enjoyed a delicious lunch together. 🍽️🌲

Best of all, we had the chance to connect, laugh, and get to know each other better. 💬✨

Huge thanks to Dublin South City Partnership and Dublin City Council Spacehive for making this special day possible. 🙏
