Yesterday we kicked off Recovery Month around our services 💜.
✨ Our Health and Addiction Care Facility at Usher’s Island was lit up in purple to mark the start of Recovery Month. The light represents making recovery visible, helping our clients to feel seen, valued and supported, while reminding them that recovery is possible.
✨ Across our services, clients and staff took part in a Synchronised Recovery Walk to acknowledge the beginning of Recovery Month. The walk was a celebration of connection, a reminder that recovery can bring us together, give us direction and show us that, no matter where you are or what your journey looks like, you matter.
✨ We also launched our new Recovery Café at our Health and Addiction Care Facility at Usher's Island, creating a safe and welcoming space where clients can connect, have fun and share their experiences. We were thrilled to welcome Nikki Hayes, Eddie Winston and Paddy Finnegan, who shared their own experiences of recovery with our clients.
This month, we celebrate our clients, their journeys and every step they take towards a brighter future. Throughout September, we will be hosting a range of activities and events for our clients as we celebrate Recovery Month. Stay tuned for more!
